all teams try to gain an advantage but lets not simply discount the fact the Pats are basically the only team people equate with cheating. Outside of Massachusetts anyways. All the threads in the world showing other teams getting fined etc won't change a thing.

its because they're the only team to get this scrutiny. Rodgers over inflates balls and nantz and Simms are high fiving about it during a cbs broadcast? Where's the asterisk? Where's the investigation. Patriots receive a level of scrutiny unmatched in modern sports history.

I think the Patriots scrutiny all started with them and the "Tuck Rule"... a game which they should have lost lol.

Obviously this whole thing is getting more absurd by the hour.. However:

it is comical that virtually nobody in the national media has ever mentioned cap gate with the broncos and elway. Like not screwing with the salary cap to keep elway and terrel davis and a few other pro bowl players on a Super Bowl winning roster somehow isn't a big deal!? C'mon! And look what they were fined and docked!

Patriots tape a guy who's in plain sight for everyone from a banned location and everything's tainted.. Denver wins 2 Super Bowls with an illegal roster and most nfl fans don't even know it happened. Fun how this works.

The real cheaters, Goodell & Wells

-------------------------------------

The conclusions of the Wells Report are, at best, incomplete, incorrect and lack context. The Report dismisses the scientific explanation for the natural loss of psi of the Patriots footballs by inexplicably rejecting the Referee's recollection of what gauge he used in his pregame inspection. Texts acknowledged to be attempts at humor and exaggeration are nevertheless interpreted as a plot to improperly deflate footballs, even though none of them refer to any such plot. There is no evidence that Tom Brady preferred footballs that were lower than 12.5 psi and no evidence anyone even thought that he did. All the extensive evidence which contradicts how the texts are interpreted by the investigators is simply dismissed as “not plausible.” Inconsistencies in logic and evidence are ignored.

“Using two different gauges (one of which was used for pre-game psi measurements), the League tested only four Colts footballs at halftime. Three of those footballs measured below regulation on the so-called “non-Logo” gauge. Four measured at or above regulation on the so-called “Logo” gauge. One Colts football averaged below regulation when taking into account both gauges. As soon as that fourth Colts football was measured, League personnel stopped any further gauging of Colts footballs. Relying on the higher Logo gauge measurements of the Colts football, League officials decided not to add air to any of the Colts footballs. Additional measurements using the same two gauges were made post-game. Post-game, each of the four Patriots footballs measured were well above the required level of 12.5 psi on both gauges (including one that had been overinflated to 13.65 on the Logo gauge). Three of the four Colts footballs measured below 12.5 psi on the non-Logo gauge (a violation of League rules), one measured below 12.5 psi on both gauges (also a violation), and three Colts footballs measured above 12.5 on the Logo gauge.”

can anyone say entrapment? and they stopped measuring Colts balls after one failed because they did not want to fuck up their fraudulent sting operation

exactly!!

also, love how everyone accuses pats of deflating 11 balls in 100 seconds in a bathroom, but league officials can't measure more than 4 balls during an entire halftime..

Framegate, sting operation, predetermined, call it what you want; just don't call it objective.

Framegate, sting operation, predetermined, call it what you want; just don't call it objective.

let's compare the two positions

1) 1 side says probably more likely than not and bases it's case on texts that don't speak the words they say they speak. they had to omit, deflect, distort and STOP the testing

2) the other side systematically addresses all the facts the other side decided to omit. One side never once had to interpret or misrepresent anything, just put all the facts on the table

Team Brady vs Framegate is a bigger rout than the Pats >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Colts in the 2nd half of that infamous game. It's non competitive, and I expect Brady to be playing on opening day. He won't be suspended for so much as one game

He'll be exonerated, now that the Kangaroo Court has been relieved of it's responsibilities

Of course they are. I realize they're not helping *your* cause...

Carry on.

You're wrong. I'm a guy who thinks the Patriots got screwed, but man these constant whiny ass threads where you guys try to point the finger at other "cheaters" have me to the point where I almost wish they would've suspended Brady for the whole year. If they get an independent arbitrator there's a very good chance Brady will suit up week 1, or at the worst week 3. Just relax. I don't think the rest of us can take 4 months of you spamming the forum with reports from websites made by a bunch of Johnny Pats fans like yourteamcheats.com.

there was no wrongdoing, a preponderance of the evidence will lead to that conclusion

preponderance of all the evidence that is, not selective evidence, not distorted texts, just the facts jack

they even have a noble prize winning scientist supporting their science, winna winna winna (as opposed to maybe probable something could have happened but our science is purposely vague and inconclusive, but one dude told another dude he's going to give him a bigger needle, so there, take that)

can't wait

and I'm sorry the filibuster is over, haters were on such a roll when only one side is presented, although they should have recognized how weak their case was even before the rebuttal occurred

c'est la vie

SUMMARY: With the Ravens leading 34-31 with four seconds left in Super Bowl XLVII and readying themselves for a free kick after taking a deliberate safety, Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco was heard telling teammates to come off the sideline and tackle 49ers' returner Ted Ginn Jr., if need be.
Flacco, who was one of many players wearing a microphone for NFL Films, told teammates Dennis Pitta and Matt Birk on the sideline that they couldn't let Ginn run free. "If he starts to break it, go tackle him," Flacco told Pitta.

LOL

Like those guys would have any chance running Ginn down. That's hilarious though, I clicked the link. The video is great, he is really telling guys to do this. Dennis Pitta looks confused and is likely thinking "What the fuck is this fool saying?"

You can tell he just has a dry sense of humor but some of his teammates just don't sense it.

Flacco: "If he starts to break it, go tackle him."
Pitta: "Really?"
Flacco: "I don't know ... what else can ... I mean, they might be able to get a touchdown on that, but I don't know."
Sensing he's not getting anywhere with Pitta, Flacco seeks to recruit others for his plan, turning to face center Matt Birk and offensive tackle Michael Oher.
"Hey, if he breaks it, if he busts this for some reason, tackle him; go tackle him," Flacco said. "... I don't know what the rule is on that, but ..."

Birk: "Why can't you?"
Flacco: "I will -- I'm going to."

Cmon Matt Birk, you went to Harvard. That aint' gonna fly
