its The Ring....you look at something and you die 7 days later....
The odds are extremely low but lets say by chance stumble upon a terrorist plot that you were not supposed to see. Or you stumble upon a snuff film that was not intended for you to see.
The terrorist will trace you and hunt you down.
I know thats extreme, but it happens.
come on Chop....so some member of a terrorist org is going to track me to ft lauderdale FL, risk the entire operation by coming after me?? And when they get here and I shoot them with my AR then what??
I mean I know that's all far fetched and very unlikely but that's not what would ever stop me from looking. My only fear would be someone hacking into my computer and stealing info...
But to suggest that bc someone hangs out in the seedy part of the net, that gives them any real power to do something in real life is just silly IMO...
Having said all that I am not gonna mess with that...

These hackers that use the deep web are the very best of the very best computer minds in the world.
The odds of you stumbling upon the next terror plot is ridiculously low.
But the story I posted in my last post is true.
There have been people killed over clicking on the wrong site.
Cyber world is just like the real world.
How many times has someone got murdered on a backroad and some innocent person that had nothing to do with it was in the wrong place at the wrong time and that innocent person that had nothing to do with any of it also gets murdered simply due to being a witness. Being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
exactly Gmen! thank you ive been waiting for this. chop its all supposed to be anonymous and theres law enforcement all over the place can see anything they want they just cant trace it is what my understanding is.
I agree with Murph it's better off here.
IMO only bad things can come of visiting the "underground web" or whatever you choose to call it.
I don't mean physical harm, but you click on something that automatically links you to something else and the FEDS are knocking at your door 10 mins later. Why bother risking it? On top of that, I'm guessing a lot of you pay your bills online? Do you really want those people having access to all that info on your computer? Because they will find it, and find it quickly.
At least go to your local library and check it out or something so at least you don't have federales knocking at your door.
Sports betting isn't exactly legal, why draw more attention to yourself over some BS....
