to address the elephant in the room ... some are Right, it has to do with financial Dealings among Posters
We have Always had a Warning/Rule that use to be posted in Every Contest, Transfer, etc that would be between posters that had money dealings
But in the last year or so we have posted it less.
As Much as i would Love to see these small Contests between posters up here in the offshore.
The Higher ups believes it belongs in their own Sub Forum.
In case there are people that don't know the warning/Rule, here it is.

The Rx.com does not endorse any posters that solicit other posters for loans or transfers, or wagering events between yourselves and cannot vouch for any posters that attempt to procure loans, funds for private contests, funds for private wagers or transfers from other posters for any reason anywhere on this site.
Financial transactions between posters are extremely risky and The Rx. advises the use of the most serious caution before making any kind of financial transaction with another poster. The Rx.com itself cannot be held responsible when posters fail trying to recover funds loaned, transferred or wagered with or to other posters under any circumstances.
Unless you personally know a poster or one is vouched for you by someone you highly trust you should be very hesitent to conduct unsecured financial business with posters that you meet on this any other forum.
I cannot over emphasize how dangerous it is to bet or loan or transfer money with or to complete stangers and expect to be paid in the end. I am not saying all posters are dishonest but utmost caution needs to be practiced whenever posters deal with each others privately, especially in regards to financial matters. Well maybe bump the new people down the the lower sub forum till they prove themselves over a long period of time.
Maybe allow the threads but ban therx from being mentioned in the thread.
There are people like me, Willie99, HarryCarry, Kidman , that have put these things up for years with no issues .
And im completely blown away at the fact that the Hilton style contest run by you and JOH could not even make the cut.
That was quickly becoming one of the best contest on the internet.
It was growing every year . There will be at least a 25% drop
im signups from last year and the only reason the drop won't be more then that is because they did not come up with that rule until recently after most people already saw it on the main forum .
Nedt year the drop will probably be 50% or more .
Just an awful decision by the higher ups.
Why not just post the warning message in every contest?
I don't feel like anyone would hold therx accountable if in the hypothetical event that I would stuff the winners of therx $500 fantasy league for example.
Or if Harry Carey or Willie99 were to stiff the winners of the survivor contest .
No sane person would hold this forum at fault for any of that.

Well if all this being done for legal reasons this new rule has done nothing .
If someone sells drugs in the sub forum instead of the offshore forum does that make it ok?
If legal reasons is the fear then the only solution you have is eliminating these contest from all forums .
This new rule has done nothing at all to solve any legal issues that probably don't even exist .
