#1, teasing in the AFL is just dumb. It's stupid. If make a 6 pt teaser, you've got BC down to pk and SJ down to -5.

So just logically think about this for a second. Would you rather have a team -5 or ml -135???

Seems like a no-brainer to me.

Yeah if I was to ask anyone before the start of the season, Montreal would be the best team in the East, Hamilton/Toronto tied for 2nd and Winnipeg last, Sask #1 in the West, Calgary 2nd, Edmonton 3rd and BC last after two weeks, I think everyone and their mother would think I am on crack or retarded. The truth of the matter is I have given up a large chunk of my Arena winnings in two weeks in this rough start and I will feel like a dufus if I get in the red with my Arena and feed into my NFL/CFL last years bankroll. Got to keep on firing away but have to wait for real value as this league essentially is a coin flip right now as it stands. Good luck to everyone.

Duke: Guru is indeed correct about getting moneyline opposed to -5, it is irrelevant now that BC lost at home to two back up QB's. But then again, Jackson is a back up QB too and he really sucked last night. 4 turnovers in the CFL is almost impossible to overcome.

You know what though King, thinking back now it was a dumb idea taking BC with Jackson at QB. The guy is just brutal, he can't complete a pass if his life depended on it. Even with all the Sask injuries, laying almost a TD against the Grey Cup champs was not a wise choice. Although I thought your ML should have hit, laying the points would have been an even dumber move. A Jarious Jackson led Lions should not be laying any points.

It's still early though, I posted some early thoughts in my thread, hope it helps. Plenty of time to right the ship.

I went ot last nights game bewteen bc and sask & I am glad i did not renew my seasons tickets.

Last years version is the same as this years version. The Games are incredibly boring to watch teams have figured out how to defend against JJ, b/c he locks in on recievers. he also throws so hard that receivers drop alot of his passes.

Joe Smith has become avg. like his name.

The defense is okay but there was some dumb penalties last night that really hurt the team.

What really sucked was that idiot who ran on to the feild at the ned of the 3rd quarter. The lions were doing a promotional game on the feild at the time this guy comes out of the stands and starts running around.

Next play sask lines up for punt on 3rd and 6 and BC gets called for too many men on the feild. Are you kidding me - you had all that time between quarters and you f that up! Sask gets a 1st down as result and drives for a TD FG to tie the game.

I don't think it's time to give up on some of these teams guys. In my opinion Winnipeg and BC are still the best teams in their divisions. Montreal won't even make the playoffs IMO, and I was on them last night. The Riders will eventually fall off, they just don't impress me. 2 games doesn't make a season. Expect BC to still win the West and Saskatchewan to finish third. They have a pretty good defense, but they should have lost last night. Jackson gave the game away with stupid fumbles deep in their own end. Without those two plays SAS loses the game.

Okay guys I have found the game I like the most out there right now as we speak. Edmonton hosts Toronto tonight and there is a lot of drama in Toronto after their Hamilton loss in the dome at home. If you watched that game you would see how upset Bishop looked and how tentative Joseph looked during the game. On the flip side of the coin, Ray said screw the short dumps for 6 yards, lets go deep and it worked like a charm against Calgary. Toronto was also exposed by Hamilton with the run and play action pass. Do I think Edmonton will try to run it down Toronto's throat? No, their game is the deep attack and I expect that tonight.

Edmonton has given up 34 points and 31 points on defense and I don't expect them to turn around and be the 2000 Baltimore Ravens. This total is like a 34.5 point total in NFL and Edmonton's defense and their offensive explosion does not warrant a total of 46. FYI, weather is going to be perfect tonight as well.
