Yep, they were winning more than half way into the 3rd quarter 10-9 then all of a sudden the mental collaspe. Normally I never bet CFL week #1, but I have been having great success in Arena this year so figured I would bet large 1st week and forcing plays and took it on the chin and I will be the first to admit, it was a square move on my part.

When the lines first came out, I only liked the Argo's under and figured that was my only play. Then I started loving the Calgary game with the over teased. To my dis-advantage Buck gets injured and once you lose your QB, you are pretty much done. I forced my hand with Hamilton and figured I would spread it out with Edmonton and took it on the chin.

Lesson learned as I gave back close to 40% of my earnings in Arena in one weekend. Not the end of the world losing 6+ dimes but it does hurt when that money was there just a few days ago. Make matters worst, I was out of town and not able to watch any of these games and I never do that. Ironically, my arena plays go perfect so go figure. I will be only betting the rest of the Arena league and unless something sticks out, I will hammer a CFL game. Until then, I will let the teams settle in and allow myself to get a good handle on the new season. Good luck this week everybody.

Only play that I like is with the points. No rocket science here, I think Toronto is the dominate team here, especially on defense and playing at home. With Cris' 9.5 line and better odds with Arena and CFL teasers, gonna take advantage of the additional 1.5 points I would not get at Greek and save the 10 cent juice.

Official Play:

2 Teamer 7 points -120 (30 units)

Toronto -2.5 & Cleveland Glads +14

GL King I just miss the play by 10 secs. Try to log in and bet by the time I hit confirm they say game offboard.

Tiger, might be a blessing in disguise. Hamilton dominated the first half and now we have a bet. 2nd half line is -9.5 Argos which is basically -1.5 for the game. Something is telling me to bet out the game but I might lose my mind if Argos win by 2 points for the Polish middle. Hopefully Bishop can come in and save the day cause Kerry Joseph looks like trash.

I think people jumped off the Tiger-Cats too early after their performance last week. Lumsden is a beast and easily the top RB in the league IMO. I still don't understand how that guy is not in the NFL.

Hopefully the Argos can come back and save your teaser though, as long as Hamilton covers the original 10.5 spread.

You can just see how talented this kid is though and unlike most CFL backs he is built for the NFL. Kenton Keith was a great backup last year for the Colts and I know from watching both that Lumsden is 10x the back he is, and he's bigger and younger. He'll get another shot though, I'm sure of it. Once he wins CFL MVP it'll open a few scouts eyes and he'll get some workouts.

Nope not tonight. Hamilton dominated all game and Argos have major issues on offense and problems with stopping the run with a big back. Well gonna have to swallow this one and take it on the chin like a grown man. Small play on the Calgary/Edmonton game, I think this is the game where both defenses really get exposed and Calgary edges Edmonton at the end of the game. I think the winner of this game has 30+ points and the over is the play.

Official Play:

Calgary/Edmonton Over 53 (15 units)

I remember when Lumsden was trying out for the Seahawks he was fighting for a backup job behind Alexander , apparently he had impressed the coaches with limited time and then got injured, basically insuring he was cut... not sure what happened in Washington. That was a few seasons ago and you have to figure he's only gotten stronger and better since then. I'd like to see him get another shot one day as well, I think he's better then Kenton Keith was before he left Saskatchewan for Indy as well

Tough break King, I also had Toronto teased down to 3 and they stunk up the joint. I'm on the Stamps -2.5, so hope we both cash this one

BC Lions laid an egg in Calgary but so far it looks like the Stamps are the best offense in the league. Buck went down and Jackson from the sounds of it took all of the snaps and should be ready to go in their home opener. BC always performs well in their dome and Crandell looked very average at best against a poor Edmonton defense until they melted in the 4th quarter. I think it will be a good game and the Lion's are suppose to be the best offense in the league should show some fireworks tonight at home. I see BC winning this one but not so sure on the spread.

San Jose faces Colorado at home on their path to the Arena Bowl. The truth is, I think the San Jose wins this one by two scores with their offense not being stopped and a pick or two for turnover prone Dutton against that SJ defense.

Official Play:

BC -240 & SJ -440 moneyline -135 (30 units)
