Jeez guys, enough of the bashing and bickering here, we're all here to help each other make some cash, King has been quite successful with his posted picks. CFL lines move very fast as the limits are very low, and if you want the best number, alot of times you have to keep it to yourself. Anyways, let's concentrate on week 5 coming up.

BTW King, I found out why I was getting disconnected from NCAA 09 last night, my NAT was strict. There was a short power outage and I guess the router assigned Live a different IP, which fucked up the NAT settings.

Lets get it going tonight if we find some time when we are both good. I ended up losing a triple OT game against Georgia who is ranked #1. Could have ended it in regulation but I missed a 36 yard FG, they are hard from the angles with these college kickers.

I guess you really don't care or trust me cause I am "dishonest" but yet you would have loved to be emailed my plays in advance and "not posted it if I insisted". LMAO, you are a character from a cartoon. :toast:

And you, my tout, are a 'legend in your own mind'.

I can buy racist remarks coming from this guy's mouth. KC, my apologies. I still think you handled/are handling it incorrectly, but I absolutely believe your side of the story 100%. If TTP doesn't take a peek at this, send him my apologies as well.

So..... how about those games this week?

Curious to hear what you guys think of these lines and what you are leaning towards.

I think this could be a great week for teasers. Tease Winnipeg to a 12 pt home dog, BC to a pk at home, Toronto to 10.5 dogs to an overrated Sask team, and I'll take the under 60 there too for two 2 team, 6 pt teasers.

Also loving the Ti-Cats at home this week. If they go 0-3 at home losing to Montreal, Sask and Edmonton (IMO all in the bottom half of the league alongside Hamilton) I think Taffe has to go. I know most will think it's too early, but better to do it when the new guy can come in and give the team a chance at the playoffs instead of the end of another miserable season. This team has some talent and should be beating below average teams at home.

The more I look at these lines, the more confused I get. I'm sort of hoping to see Winnipeg reach 7 or so to take them. I really do believe that they're beating Calgary outright. HFA means more than Dimwittie coming in to replace Glenn IMO.

The team needs a spark and between a new QB and the fact that Stegall should be back in the lineup may be just what they need.

Guru,

Stegall even if he suits up won't be affective on the field. Last thing I heard, he won't be ready or 100% for a couple of weeks. I'm not sure why you think Winnipeg is going to beat Calgary outright, have you been watching these games? Calgary is clearly the best offense in the league because Jackson for BC is to inconsistent. Dinwiddle is a horrible QB, people will look at what he did in garbage time and say he can't be worst than Glenn. You have to take into consideration the other side of the ball where Winnipeg is missing their 2nd best defensive player behind Canada with Simpson done for the year. Not to mention secondary issues for the worst defense in the league with these guys healthy. When you add Burris and Calgary's offense against the worst defense in the league who may be without 3 starters and add in Dinwiddle, not sure how you can see Winny winning. They may cover, they may outright win, I have seen weirder things happen and they are at home, but if Winnipeg lost by 7 to an Argo's team that has no offense and got smoked by BC at home with these guys playing and healthy, not quite sure I can see the Bombers winning.

Dunno... Like I said, HFA means a shit ton in this league and I'm still not 100% sold on the Stamps. Yeah, the offense is really impressive, but the defense I still believe is suspect.

There's gotta be just a ton of emotion riding in Winnipeg right now. 0-6 is a real possibility and their season could be over. Doug Berry's job is on the line.

I think the Bombers have lacked heart more than they've lacked skill. They give up in games and can't make timely plays. They've got a spark plug in there now in Dinwiddie, and though I agree that he sucks, he's something different for the team to rally behind. Teams that are behind the 8-Ball like this that are this talented usually show up eventually.

Call in hunch, or whatever you want... I just think they're getting zero respect for a team that was touted to be the only team out there that could knock off the Argos in the East.

I'm not going to make more than an average wager, but I think Calgary -6 is a solid bet for this week. Burris and the offence are playing very well, while Winnipeg can't get anything going offensively. Much has been already said about Dinwiddie, and Roberts hasn't done much thus far this season. Bombers are banged up on defence, and the loss of an important guy like Baron Simpson will really hurt that team. Calgary should pick that defence apart. IMO, if anyone out there thinks Winnipeg can win, they might be better off taking the over, since I think the only way they stand a chance is if their offence somehow wakes up under Dinwiddie.

Pass, thanks for the reponse I couldn't agree more.... I'm still trying to figure out how even though all agree a guy sucks he's somehow supposed to rally his team??? :think2: I like the number as stated and I layed it down...... (twice)

Good luck to all and to all a cash night!

AFL - so far this year home teams are 9-7 SU at home, but having said that Calgary laying 6 points is scary, I can see the BB get inside the backdoor with a late TD.

24-20 ish

love Calgary at -6, right now this is a case of the best team in the league vs the worst team in the league. Winnipeg losing one of their top Defensive players for the season (Barron Simpson) certainly will not help, and Dinwoodie is a step down from Glenn even despite Glenn's struggles.

KC - Due to the amount of bickering I didn't happen to see if you have a play on tonight's game?
