this is what sets this sport apart really.a 2 touchdown lead and a minute left doesnt mean this game is over by any means. I love the rules in arena that makes watching the whole game a blast.the onsides kick, and the way the last minute is coordinated time wise always leaves the door open.

something espn or fsn and the major networks should pick up on,you dont lose viewers with a 2 touch down lead like in the nfl.

I really loved the passion the georgia quarterback showed last night as well to win, alot of these guys really put alot into these games.a really exciting sport,I wish this forum would do more to attract people to this sport with contests,ads,etc..

this is a sport that could really take off, last nights game was a hell of alot more exciting than any monday night nfl game for the past few years and judging from this years monday night nfl game schedule probably more exciting then we will get from the nfl in the future

a great monday night game

cheers

Unfortunately, it's a sport that's hanging on its last legs right now. ESPN couldn't care less about the league that it owns shares in now, and the crowds that they are continuously showing on national TV are a disgrace.

Just another example where anything that was bet in the game had a gripe to win. Before the last Georgia touchdown, the game was still under, but the pace of it was break-neck fast in the first half. Philadelphia dominated the 3rd quarter, damn well should've covered the game, then the miracle happened...
aflguru, with most of the games going under the past two weeks,do you think that the majority of the games are due to go over this week.i know this statement might make no sense, but i think they are doe to go over.:toast:

i agree that the fans are not coming around this year.i have lost a ton on the sabercats to go over this year, but the sabercats have a great turn out.it seems like orlando does okay.i hope the league does okay, because iam one of the few that like this sport.do you think because gas, food, and the cost of living going up people have chose not to go?i know basketball has done well.:toast:

SB: Your logic in Post 684 is useless. Don't take offense to that... just is what it is. Books are getting a GOOD grasp on totals this year. I mean you can give it a shot and play all these overs, but if you win, it won't be because "they're due."

The Orlando attendance figures are the worst they've been in YEARS, and it's got absolutely nothing to do with the economy. Ticket prices across the league have over double in the past couple years (in many cases, TRIPLED), many of the markets totally don't give a shit that they have an AFL team, and so many of the owners just see the teams as a nuisance because they're losing money hand over fist every year (mostly because of the increased salary cap that has gone up probably around 800%... and I'm NOT exaggerating... since the mid-90s).

Philly had no answers on defense with their secondary injuries against Georgia but their offense looked stout and in top form. Chris Jackson got a tiny bit banged up but he was fine. Going against argueably the worst defense in the league in Columbus should make for fireworks. Nagy should be able to score against this secondary.

Columbus/Philly Over 108

This game is troubling me and I am really trying to understand why New York Dragons are only a 1 point favorite against Georgia. Georgia's defense can't stop anyone with their injuries and NY has won their last 5 games in a row. I understand the Force made an insane comeback to pull off the miracle win against Philly but I think the Dragon's keep on rolling and home arena will be the edge. I do think this game will be close but I think there is value here with NY.

Nothing stands out this week so gonna keep it light unless after more capping I find a major edge. Good luck to everybody this weekend!! :toast:

Certainly with you on NY -1. Only danger I see in the other one is that CMB is the lowest scoring team in the league. PHL could win this one 64-42 or so. CMB could only manage 43 at a stinking KC team last week.

I am also on LA +17 but the number has dropped now.

Scott, I hear you about Nagy's offense. They managed to score 55 last time they played Philly and that was with their defense in tact. Got a feeling they hang 50 points and Philly hangs high 60's. Glad we are on the same page in NY, they should be a 3-4 point fav IMO. LA at +17 is a good number. Only way Chicago covers if they get like 3-4 turnovers/stops. Not impossible but 17 is a lot of points. Good luck with your wagers this weekend. :toast:

Gonna add a teaser to make this weekend worth while with the same teams. Line has moved on the total now, so it goes as follows:

Official Play:

7.5 point teaser:

Col/Philly Over 101.5
NY Dragons +6

$1000

NY's kicker was put on IR this week. I've taken over for a small play on hunch in the Geo/NY game, but my better play today is Kansas City.

Kansas City has been the most worthless pieces of crap so far in this game (51-44 Orl about 4:00 left). Just unbelievable how badly they've played. They should be up about 4 TDs right now.

New York's playing a hell of a game against a pretty good Georgia team.

Nice job NY. Up two scores at half getting the ball and find a way to lose. Fucktards.

Yep, this week the beats are against my money too. Columbus down 8 points with 4 mins left and Kay decides to kick it deep instead of an onside which would have cashed the over, assuming Philly scores and Destroyers score with plenty of time to accomplish this. Instead Philly burns the clock and Columbus' timeouts without putting up another point for the game. Then this disaster in NY. Unreal and this week, the beats were against us. Got time to recoup, next weeks lines will be out in 48 hours. Glad I did not love anything so laid less than what I would normally lay in a weekend. Good luck to everyone tomorrow and next week.

So far this week the dogs are 6-1 ATS and road teams are 6-1.

I have LA +17 tomorrow. I have a dog/road team (12-2 so far this week).

Why do I feel a sense of impending doom?

LMAO, cause it is one of those weird weekends. Bet Chicago -14 and hope for your 3 point middle. LOL, good luck tomorrow, will be cheering for you. Might pop a HT bet depending on how the game is trending. I would assume based on Cumbie's performance last week, he will get the nod. Hopefully he can score against Chicago early to keep many options for you at half. :toast:

The last I heard Cumbie will be sharing time with that Big Fat Tub of Goo Hicks. Hopefully Dumbie starts and does well and Goo never leaves the bench.
