I think this is pretty much accurate.
They may have emotional feelings but they don't let feelings dictate their beliefs. And they have a hard time understanding others that do.

well if you're aware of the climate "scientists" (which that quote is about, i assume) caught over and over fudging their data to fit their hypothesis you'll know that aki's definition of science is pretty fucking distorted, much like his categorizations of american incomes

hell i wish his quote was true but it's proven false literally every hour. scientists, like the rest of us, like to keep our meal ticket (aka federal funding) happy while rarely proven wrong. The scientific method is as unregarded and useless in modern science as the constitution is in modern US government

I didn't say they should be beaten, I said lightheartedly there are some that deserve it. Really not a big deal. And for the argument, those quotes came in a 20 min timeframe where I was talking about hockey and this individual came in, called me a pussy, and said his kids could beat my ass. I then had an embarrassing exchange of words with him, apologized immediately afterward, he has accepted my apology, and we have moved on. Saying faggot is not something I say often. Was just a bad 20 min.
