My 2 boys got the flu the Tuesday before Christmas and are still fighting symptoms today. Mom and I just started coming down with it with the last couple of days. SUCKS. I even got a flu shot.

I think, and I may be totally wrong, is that they try and predict what strain of flu virus there will be. You can still get the flu even if you get the shot, but you'll have a lot milder version of it.

No I have the Flu. Went to the Dr and got tested for it. The Flu makes a lot of people puke, especially when it comes with that high of a fever

started tamiflu about 80 hrs after my symptoms started...I was on a cruise and didn't want to report myself and get quarantined...if that even is a thing...and it caused the worst of all days. It caused me to puke all night long. worst night. I gave it up after 2 doses

Yea my doc told me tamiflu is useless 48 hours after symptoms present themselves. Unfortunately for me mine started Christmas eve so can't really get to a Dr or pharmacy for a couple days at that point
