Thanks guys, I'm putting a pause on the NHL.. They are running at 8-9 with 5 straight losses. The CBB totals have been doing great, so my focus will be on those for the next several days. For me, I must stick to my overall game plan as stated above, which calls for only 1-3 plays each day. Its all my money that I'm wagering with, that's why I'm only keeping one record and not breaking it down by individual sports. 85-52 in cbb, so I will go from there.

And u guys should have a better line than I have on first two games tonight.

Thanks Incubus for tracking the 50 plays.. They aren't quite what I expected but they turned a profit and that's always good.

I want to always be very disciplined and for me this business needs to be very boring and automated, excitement for me is usually not a good thing. I'll be staying well within my betting format but starting tomorrow I may become very boring. Do not get too carried away with the tourney guys and do crazy things.

Notice I played my Top 2 plays in today's betting session. A wise old man told me way back in about 1988 or so, "play them both son, u might win one".

it seems to me, that in order to have any chance of staying ahead of this game, you need discipline, patience, and an understanding that there will be hard to stomach losses. very difficult to do for 99+%.

That's correct, u have to stay disciplined and not get too excited either way. Most people do this for fun and that's perfectly fine, but I only do this to make money and that's it.

i don't think most people do this for fun. i think most people don't want to understand the many ways you can get buried. just one example, 10% juice. using your 300 a play, 100 plays, 53-47, up 390. 47-53 however, not down 390, but 3390! the difference between winning 53% and losing 53% is a main reason why bookmaking is so profitable.

Last 5 sessions combined for a miserable 5-10 ATS (-18.7 units) or 33.33%

Yes, the 50 play sub-set INCUBUS EXPERIMENT was indeed "profitable" at +3.8 units albeit pedestrian given the number of available opportunities.

The last 5 sessions at 5-10 ATS (-18.7 units) 33.33% severely impacted this 50 play experiment in a negative fashion.

Of course if the last play of Virginia Tech UNDER had won, the results would've been 56%. What's the old saying? If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, what a wonderful Christmas it would be.

I think I'll do an INCUBUS EXPERIMENT 2.0 for the next 50 plays for my own edification and intellectual curiosity. Starting with those for today, Thursday 17th, St. Patrick's Day!
