This playing it safe thing is the safe thing that bookiebasher has done over the last few weeks. It is always a one play for 5 dimes or 10 dimes. Then this sunday...when he is down in dimes he releases a 30 dimer, (loses) then a 75 dimer (loses) then releases a "RARE" 200 dimer. LOSES!!!

Let's start a winning streak today.

A near pick’em game worth 10 Dimes of action in the NBA.

Well, my first 50 dime championship loss of the year goes down with Michigan State last night. As good as that team played against Louisville and Uconn was as poorly as it played in the first half last night.

And I am man enough to admit credit goes to North Carolina for making the Spartans look that way. My downfall in this tournament was giving the Big East far too much credit than it deserved, and it threw me off just a bit.

Am I disappointed? Absolutely.

Frustrated? Absolutely.

Only God knows how much I hate to lose championship games and believe you me, a 5-1 run with 50 dime releases sounds much better than a 4-2 run with 50 dime releases.

However, one thing I have learned over the years doing this for a living is no matter how much I win, how much I have proven myself to everyone, how many big games I hit in a row, the losses are remembered more than the wins.

As the 2009 year continues to unfold, I won't be remembered for the 50 dime winner on the Florida Gators in the college football National championship game.

I won't be remembered for my 50 dime winner on the Steelers in the AFC Championship game. Or the 50 dime winner and 17th straight Super Bowl winner on the Arizona Cardinals or the 50 dime winner on Villanova absolutely destroying Duke.

Nope, I will be remembered for laying an egg last night with Michigan State more than any big-play winner I have had this year and believe me, nobody understands better than me - it's just the way this business is set up.
