I'm definitely a fader. I started fading late in 2009, so I didn't make as much as all of you long time faders. I have given most of the money back in 2010. Obviously Lang's style and money management have changed, so I'm adjusting as well. When Lang goes back to his old ways then I go back to fading full time.

I too am a fader. But having a money management discipline saves you from your own ideas if they don't work. I like certain stocks, but if they go down a certain percentage I sell them. I make my own picks and I was liking a lot of the DeMarco plays. The guy is not as square as Lang. I see he was talking about how underdogs come into play this late in the tourney. The guy is not as reckless as Lang, his idea of a super bowl play is like 15 dimes max. Our advantage to fading was Lang's ego, but that is out of play now. Lang seems much more happier to let DeMarco do the driving. You may have a long wait before Lang gets behind the steering wheel again and drives the sedan over the cliff. But when Lang starts making the calls again, it will be very obvious. At least you made an adjustment to your betting. After all, its about winning.

Sorry to hear you lost Gman. I noticed you are new to this thread. Just to give you a heads up, it may not be a smart time to jump into the fade right now. Lang has definitely proven that he is a loser over a long time. However recently he has switched up his betting style and has been using much smarter money management. He is going on 4 straight winning weeks and has probably been the hottest capper out there over that time. Many on here are very stubborn and will just tell you to fade blindly no matter what. That may be OK for some of them because they have been fading for a long time and have built up a bankroll. I still however would want to preserve those winnings, but that's their choice. Some of the smarter bettors on here have adjusted their betting strategy and are doing better. It may be best for you to just sit on the sidelines for now and see how this works before you just jump in. Best of luck to you whatever you choose to do.
