Hideki Matsui

Godzilla batted .345 with 39 hits & 28 RBI's in 28 games for the month of July.He also lead the league with a slugging percentage of .735 ; ..hit 13 HR's and 31 runs scored.

Absolutely ridiculous month.

Royals have had two winning months in a row. :banger:

Good, that means they're way overdue to crash and burn.

Hardly even scratched NY last month, 3-1. When they did it was against Igawa who is now out of the rotation with Hughes starting tomorrow.

I smell sweep.

Plus, NY has been winning without A-ROD. He's about get back on.

Yankees are flailing along and still just 3 back of the WC, I've seen this movie before.

Fuc, you gave up on NY, don't come back til '08 with any NY flavored posts, it's only fair. :103631605

Haha, please.

I'm glad they proved me wrong. I think alot of it has to do with their younger guys getting more playing time, tbh. With the same squad at the beginning of the year they'd be toast.

Then again, they're still 3 games out, so we'll see how far along they'll come still.

I can't believe Boston got Gagne, (I know this is old news now, but I was away)

George really must be sick, it's becoming more and more obvious he's not all there, so many weird moves and no answers on other teams moves, the whole Igawa thing stunk from the get go ....

I am really sorry to hear he's sick...it makes some sense now.

Yup, there are reports that he might be in the early stages of Alzheimers. He's a complete recluse and all his public comments are basically done by his PR guy, you can tell that they arn't typical Steinbrenner. Pretty much all the moves since last years playoffs have been done by his sons and other high officials.

This says it all:

He hasn't been to a Yankee game (or at least spotted at one) since opening day, VERY RARE.

I had been wondering about this for some time...damn shame.

Alex Rodriguez became the youngest player in MLB history to hit 500 career homers , as the Yankees blasted the Royals 16-8.

Who's your favorite baseball team?

gyno -- born and raised a yankee fan. I also have common sense.

You really think mussina , andy P and clemens can make it to the world series.

what pitcher would you trust in a do or die game
