You can't buy HEART

No matter how much money you spend.

The Yankees haven't had a lick of heart since they traded Roger Maris.......and now all you wannabe baseball fans in pinstripes who think championships are won by entitlement will have a nice long winter to stew in the piss stew George & Alex (a match made in the bowels of a pig) have conjured up for you pitiful LOSERS !!!

OOOOOHHHHHHH this is so much fun to watch !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel bad only for Joe Torre, Derek Jeter & Bernie Williams.....three class guys who are guilty only of not knowing when to get away from the obvious pondscum that has surrounded them.

The curse of the Bambino was transferred to the Bronx the moment Alex Rodriguez hit that guy with his purse at first base. Enjoy the next 8 decades.

Now all you Yankee fans can go back to something you are GOOD at....like pulling the wings off of flies. Leave baseball to those of us who are capable of cognative thought. We are ALL Yankee fans at age 2 when we reach for everything in sight and scream MINE MINE. But those of us with brains and/or class (it only takes one of the two) get over it by age four.

PHEW !!!! That felt good !!!! Back to the game. I think Pay-Rod is leading off the 8th. This should be fun to watch !!!

Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of whining fans in all of america and and a few canadiens also!! All talk about the great Yankees when they are wining and then hide under the rocks when they get there asses handed to them. I knew I wanted the Twins to face the under performing Yankees in the first round.

Yanks need to try to rebuild next year. With all their money they can be a 70-80 win team, save some cash still, and win in '09.

George should have fired Cashman and hired Journeyman!

I would have never signed 80% of these pitchers they've signed over the last 4 years...this is where the Yankees have screwed themselves...I wouldn't have signed Barry Zito for sure..I wouldn't have signed Clemens this yr either.

How does this Cashman clown still have a job?

The rule on pitchers is 3 year contracts max. The Yankees should ABUSE teams with this rule, seriously. They can offer more per year than any other team, and players are often greedy and short sighted. If they ever sign another pitcher to a contract over three years they are insane. Personally, I would only sign pitchers to two year contracts, as so much can change. I would do it even if it means outbidding people by 10%. Look at the Zito Deal (not that I advocate signing him). If he's making 15 per year, the yanks could easily have given 17 (15% outbid) per year over 2 or 3 years. Why tie your own hands?? Use your amazing cash resources to allow yourself to have a huge flexibility edge over other teams.

Problem with that is too many other moron owners and GMs will give away the farm, and when they have tried to all work together , they get charged with collusion....I agree though but MLB is making money hand over fist now and nothing is going to change, the union is just too strong in baseball.

This Cashman guy is a clown though, he has so much margin for error with that checkbook and he still can't find 5 pitchers... going on 4 years now for NY with these questionable pitcher signings and problems....if Clemens ends up being a huge bust Cashman will most definitely be gone...

Can you imagine a guy like Beene or Shuerholtz running this team ?

Not only do A-Rod & Jeter have more votes than any other player in the American League ... but more than any player in either league.
