Jeter returned to the lineup last night, after missing the last 2 games with a sprained right hand.

..just when you think there's a chance to start fielding a healthy lineup,the Yanks lose another guy.ucking:

Mariano Rivera's missed the last 2 games due to back spasms,and A-Rod was sent back to the hotel yesterday with a stomach virus..causing him to miss his 1st game of the season.

Even with all the recent health issues,the Yankees sport the Major's best record of
8-2 over the last 10 games.

Giambi hit a 2-run shot in the sixth inning,which gives him 15 on the year.

"Captain Clutch" drove in the game winning RBI in the 9th.He went 3-4,and now has 40 RBI's.

Moose struck out 8 last night.He's now tied for 9th place with Jack Morris,on the All-Time strikeout list.The win bumped his season record to 8-1.

Yankees also established a new franchise record for consecutive games with double-digit hits(12).The old record was 11,set in the month of May,1937.

Over the course of those 12 games...the record was set without the likes of Matsui,Jeter,Sheffield,Giambi,A-Rod,Damon & Posada in the lineup.All missed at least one start; and still,this team managed to break the record which was set more than 1/2 a Century ago.."Wicked Owwwwsome"
