10 DIME - ORLANDO MAGIC
Off one of their best wins of the year I look for Orlando to build some momentum tonight in Houston.
The Magic took care of the Cavs on Sunday pushing their current run to 7-3 SU their last 10 and looking for another win tonight.
They really took it to the Rockets in the last meeting 102-87 at home outrebounding them by 12, holding them to less than 40% from the field and 30% from behind the arc.$
They now catch a Rockets team playing terrible basketball as evidenced by their 1-5 SU and ATS run their last 6 and an even worse run on their home floor.
Over their last 11 home games, the Rockets are a pathetic 3-9 SU but a horrific 1-11 ATS.
Sportsfans, that is all I need to know about this matchup tonight as the Magic cruise to an easy road win.
10 DIME - SAN DIEGO STATE AZTECS
This is a war tonight.
The first meeting back in January was as closely contested a game as you could ask for.
Back and forth, with lead changes all night long. The Cougars eventually pulled out the 2 point win 71-69 as a 1 point favorite.
Now laying a big 8 1/2 number, I just love the dog to take them down to the wire again tonight.
Since that home loss to BYU, Steve Fisher's bunch has gone on a 6-1 run SU and ATS with the only loss being at New Mexico 88-86 in OT as a 7 point underdog.
All told, this team is a road tested bunch covering 4 in a row and catching this many points is just too much value I can't pass up.
And the fact the road team is 4-0 ATS last 4 in this series.
It's not the Fab Five, but I will roll the dice with Fisher's bunch tonight.
10 DIME - NEW MEXICO STATE AGGIES
This team is rolling right now and I am confident Idaho isn't going to be the one to stop them.
Winners of 8 of their last 10 SU, and a 7-2-1 run ATS, they now face a Vandals team they took care of by 3 on the road in the last meeting.
The Aggies are off 6 point win at Pacific as a 6 1/2 point dog and now come back home to dish out some more homecourt punishment just like they did versus Hawaii.
I had them in that game as an 11 1/2 point home favorite and they cruised to the 24 point home win.
Although I don't think they beat Idaho by that much, I do see a double digit beat down in order.
In their last 4 games versus teams with a winning percentage of more than .600, the Vandals are 0-4 SU and ATS and I see that number going to 0-5 tonight.
The hometeam rolls again big for me tonight.
5 DIME - TEMPLE OWLS - 6:30 PM START
Great battle in the A-10 tonight.
The Owls and the Flyers put on the gloves and do battle with the Owls being the small home chalk. If they play the way they have been playing at home over their last 4 games, covering the number shouldn't be a problem.
Starting with their home win over Xavier by 5 as a 4-point favorite they then handled LaSalle by 12 as an 11 1/2 point favorite and then handled Duquesne by 16 as a 12 1/2 point chalk.
That set the table for a showdown with Rhode Island and laying the same number they are laying tonight, the -4 number, they crushed them by 22.
Not impressed with Dayton last game out struggling at home against an 11-15 Lasalle team and then going on the road and losing outright to Duquesne as a 4 1/2 point road favorite.
With a 3-5 SU mark on the highway this year I will roll with the home team at great value to continue their winning ways in the city of brotherly love.

San Diego State terrible run in the middle of the 2nd half, but it was still a 10 point game with 4 minutes to go, so it's not like 5-0 was out of my reach but I absolutely had to have a big winning night and that is exactly what I got.
So now my attention turns to this Thursday card, a 2nd straight winning day and build on the 6-2 paid and comp play run the last 2 days.
Sounds like a gameplan worth executing if you ask me.

Great spot for the Phoenix here.
Winners of 4 of their last 5 SU and 3-1-1 ATS, they find themselves facing an Illinois-Chicago team they handled by 26 at home in early December.
Truth be told, I just don't see this 19-10 team not handling their business on the road tonight.
As for the Flames, 2-8 SU your last 10 really isn't getting it done, add to it the fact you are 1-3 ATS last 4 at home.$ You look at the head to head matchups and you will se the Phoenix 4-0 ATS last 4 meetings while they are 4-1 ATS last 5 as a road favorite.
You throw in the magic of a 21-5-1 ATS run their last 27 Thursday games and laying this small number on the road is value I can't pass up.
5 DIME - LOUISIANA TECH
Laying the wood like Tiger tonight.
At 21-6 including a stellar 10-1 home mark, Tech takes on a 12-15 Boise State team with only 4 road wins all year.
What makes me really like the Bulldogs is the fact they come off back-to-back solid ballgames.
At Utah State they lose by 6 as a 12 point road dog, and then in bracket-buster action they take care of Northeastern 70-67 as a 9 point dog.
Now back home against a losing Boise team, a team they dominated in Boise 79-64 as a 2 point favorite, this 9 number is no problem.
As for Boise, how about a 3-10 run SU and off a 12 point home loss to an 11-15 UC Davis team, this game is a case of two teams really heading in opposite directions.
For good measure let's throw in Boise State 0-6 ATS last 6 meetings overall and 0-6 ATS last 6 trips to La Tech.
The play is the home team tonight.
5 DIME - CLEVELAND CAVALIERS
It's redemption for Lebron tonight.
In his last national tv appearance he imploded in the 4th quarter against Orlando leading Cleveland to a 3rd straight loss.
They stop the bleeding and a 4th straight loss with a very average win at home by 10 over the Hornets but they still don't seem to be playing really great basketball for this late in the year.
However the Celtics will get their best tonight.
Not only are the Cavs 6-2 ATS last 8 meetings in Boston but 18-7-2 ATS last 27 meetings overall.
As for the Celtics, they are stuck in the mud, coming off a very lackluster win over the Knicks and now must really step up for the Cavs.
The bottom line is I trust Cleveland in this spot more than Boston who is 1-1-7 ATS on 1 days rest and a terrible 0-6-1 ATS mark facing a team with a winning road record.
All Lebron and the Cavs tonight.

Good to see Lebron and the Cavs step up in the 4th quarter and do what they failed to do last Sunday versus the Magic.
This is a very important 3-day run; today, Saturday and Sunday. Very important to win the next 3 days.

I went against the Rockets two nights ago when they got hammered at home by the Magic 110-92; going to do the same tonight.
Houston has lost six of its last seven SU and ATS. At home it's lost 7 of 9, including 4 in a row in which they've allowed an average of 110.3 ppg.
The Rockets are 5-18 ATS in their last 23 games overall; 1-12 ATS their last 13 at home.
The Spurs are coming off a big 95-87 home win against red-hot Oklahoma on Wednesday, limiting the Thunder to 39.8% shooting from the field. Now they get a Rockets' team that's failed to crack the century mark in scoring in six of its last eight games.
San Antonio won at Houston 92-84 back on November 27, making it two straight road wins for the Spurs in the series. And the road team is 2-0 in the series this season.
Minus size and still missing the injured Lowry and Ariza - while trying to fit recently-acquired Martin into the line-up - this is another good go-against spot for Houston.
5 DIME - NIAGARA PURPLE EAGLES
Niagara, coming off an 85-79 road win over Wisconsin-Milwaukee in last Saturday's Bracket-Buster, has won three in a row and five of six straight-up (4-2 ATS) as it wraps the season with road games against Manhattan and Fairfield, two teams it beat at home already this year.$ These are key contests because despite the recent winning streak, the Purple Eagles are still tied for fifth in the MAAC with an 8-8 record and have yet to wrap-up a first-round bye in next week's conference tournament.
The current three-game run began with an upset of Siena, a win that snapped the Saints' then-15 game winning streak. I was impressed with the way they didn't get trapped in a letdown two nights later when they hammered Marist by 19 points. That's why I don't think they will suffer a letdown tonight coming off last weekend's big Bracket Buster win.
Manhattan has lost 14 of its last 19 SU, including five of its last six conference outings at home both SU and ATS. The Jaspers were hammered in the season's first game at Niagara, losing 88-64. In that contest the Eagles hit 10-of-28 three-pointers while the Jaspers missed 11 of 12 from beyond the arc.

Whether I'm winning or losing, I'm fearless when it comes to stepping out on a game when the action demands it. That's something that got the movie about my life as a professional 'capper, Two For The Money made, and it's something I've always prided myself on.
You can't play scared. When you see the opportunity you've got to have the balls to step to the plate and swing for the fences; that's what I'm doing today.
Can't name the match-up, but I can tell you the team I'm backing won the season's first meeting and today they'll win again by double digits, easily getting the cover to complete the series' sweep.

Going to back Cal in its regular season home finale, laying around 6, to complete the season sweep of Arizona State. $The Golden Bears won 78-70 in Tempe on January 28, a game in which they were up by as many as 16 in the second half. With the win today, Cal can clinch at least a share of the Pac-10 title - its first since 1960.
