I'm not sure why people are upset with me for holding the opinion that a kid born in the United States should be able to speak English. Like the rest of the 99% of us, we have to work for a living and are not blessed with earth-defying natural natural. To see someone so stupid excel is fundamentally frustrating after I've busted my ass for 27 years to reach the level of success I have. Quoting me and calling me a fag, dumb, or a disgrace to your city evinces the lack of respect and pride for what you've done

To clarify I don't mean everyone born in the US should speak English. That is narrow-minded. I just mean anyone born to "presumably" English speaking parents should be able to speak the language

You get into an elite law school from that "shothole" city, you go to that shithole city

You sound like a very classy attorney. Guess that ELITE law school in the shit-hole city...provided you w/ your degree.

Guess you're SCURRRRRRRRRRRRRRED to say where you're from. LOL.

Loyola. My undergraduate alma mater as well. No shame here. Given a select few graduate college and only 1% of the population goes to law school (and graduates), yup no shame. Maybe not the "elite of the elite," but I have no regrets. You're clearly drawing an intellectual disconnect between the quality of the city and the quality of the law school. There is an even greater disconnect between my disdain for a city and the career opportunities resulting therefrom. But that's fine. You want to jump in and start shit in a thread I started, that's cool. We could have talked about it rationally, but apparently not. To be honest, your opinion means dick to me. Given the quality of your totals opinions, your opinions on cities means even less.

Wow, you are one salty ass kid. Have never heard someone with such a cold heart as you. Again, I'm very prideful of my city...and have never had anyone say it's a SHIT-hole. Matter of fact, have had many many friends and family visit from different parts of the nation and different parts of the world, and they have said it's 1 of the most beautiful cities they have ever visited. You may have book-smart, but your common sense is obviously lacking big time. I could care less of your opinions anyways. But I guess there is a first for everything....and that is Chicago being called a SHITHOLE. I'm just laughing now...

Lol exactly. To visit. Same thing my friends and parents say. "Great place to visit...but I'd never want to live here." Dude, it's -40 windchill with 1.5" of snow on the ground. Pride? Fuck that. I'm COLD. Maybe that's why I'm "cold-hearted." Lacking in common sense? If not wanting to live in these conditions lacks common sense, Varkey, you got me pegged. I don't give a fuck if you're laughing. I only care that my nuts don't freeze off

Salty or fucking prideful after busting my fucking ass for 9 years? I'll never apologize for grinding my fucking ass off earning 3 undergraduate degrees and a J.D./L.L.M. Bust my balls all you want, but after all I've done, I don't give a shit to be honest

Lol and how old are you that 27 is a "kid"

Calm down "baller"; Most people that are even slightly in the know recognize the issues the City of Chicago is dealing with, rampant crime (drive-by murder capital of North America), theft, grand larceny, rape, assault, dysfunctional single-parent house-holds, political (one-party) corruption, a school system that has been in shambles for years, O'Hare Airport, brutal commuting traffic, and, having to cheer for the Chicago Cubs year-in and year-out. The fact is, most people that live there are decent, God-fearing people.

I remember well the 1963 "Loyola Ramblers" team that knocked-off the Cincinnati "Bearcats" in over-time to win the NCAA B.B. Championship. The Loyola Law-School ? One the best in the Country. You have every right to be proud of your "sheepskin(s)". As far as the cold weather, they don't call Chicago the "windy city" for nothing; When the wind blows off from Lake Michigan (in January) it ends-up being cold-enough to freeze the "balls on a brass-monkey".......I guess we can blame most of the cold weather that occurs in Chicago-land on "Global Warming"....... LOL

So,...... go a little easy on yourself "baller" and relax; We all get a little "edgy" after the last game of the season is played; A new college football season will be on-hand before you know it. HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Who cares if he doesn't make sense or not- Shannon Sharpe sounds like he has a cock stuffed in his mouth yet CBS pays him millions to talk like a raging idiot to us every Sunday.

What's all the baller talk? Edgy? I didn't have a dog in the fight, I just think Winston is a scrub-rapist.

I'm well aware of all of Chicago's shortcomings since I experience them daily. Get me the fuck out of here

I remember a time when colleges only admitted intelligent and academically qualified individuals to further their education and contribute to society. Oh wait, that never happened, did it? That's only true if you don't have a rocket arm and a good 40 time???

"baller".....short for "ballerhanz"...get-it? I was agreeing with you on Chicago's short comings........couldn't you tell ? As far as leaving, what are you waiting for ? I still think you sounded somewhat "edgy"......like I said, probably because the college 2013 football season just ended.
