Surrender noted on Trump's part
He should have a coherent plan tho, which I dont think he does. (other than 'let the states handle it')
250,000 deaths by October will be hard to defend
The wreck or the booze is a decent analogy when you think about it.
I will say now that time has passed the # of deaths and what gets put down as the cause is for sure clear as mud. Definitely not cut and dry.
I do still believe this virus is much worse than just the common cold like some tried to compare it too at the start.
I do still believe certain measures needed to be taken at the start to help slow the spread and bring awareness to the virus.
I have noticed this virus has been turned into a huge political tool and has further divided an already divided people. The mask vs no mask debate..etc etc...
I also was reassured that our government and political officials are self centered and only care about their own agenda not the people. From dumping stocks ahead of announcements to Pelosi and company wanting to blame everything on our president and take no blame...and of course stuffing stimulus package bills with whatever agenda they wanted passed ahead of what was best for citizens. Both parties.
left is % positive tests and then which day of a 7-day rolling avg starting in mid-late march … ranges from 3.5% to 14% with recent numbers about 1/3 of April.Roll what does the Vertical & horizontal #'s represent .....% of population and # of days?
Two weeks after Texas began to roll back coronavirus restrictions, the Lone Star State counted its largest single-day totals in new cases and deaths as local and state governments grapple for power over reopening.
The state health agency reported 58 deaths from coronavirus and 1,448 new confirmed cases on Thursday, both records as the state continues to ease restrictions.

It's a no-brainer that this would happen & will happen everywhere.
Not rocket science & just don't understand why ppl can't comprehend it.

COVID-19 cases still rising across Texas, hospitalizations remain flat
And statewide, as of Thursday, there were 130 fewer people in the hospital compared to two weeks ago.
Those numbers are going down, but the positive cases aren't.
Here's how the numbers from May 1 compared to the final two weeks in April look:
Harris County saw a 22 percent increase. In Fort Bend County, the numbers went up by eleven percent. They also rose in Chambers, and Liberty County. The numbers decreased though in Galveston, and Montgomery County.
That said, there's more testing. The state performed about 110,000 more tests since May 1 than the two weeks prior.
Because they are trump loyalists.
Some will say they don’t like Trump...but they’re on here defending every single thing he says and not denouncing anything.
Well I am too but I don't link the two together mob.
Ppl making their own assumptions.
yet you still can't comprehend how positive cases are up when 110,000 more people have been tested in the past 2 weeks than in the previous two weeks. It's a no-brainer that this would happen & will happen everywhere.

really remarkable you are still pointing to relaxed restrictions. If you were correct then there wouldn't be 130 less hospitalizations in May than in the second half of April
quite introspective to use the phrase no-brainer
