Manning had arguably and statistically the best season in NFL history the year he left INDY.
So I don’t know what your saying or talking about
You're talking about the great decisions the Packers and the 49ers and the Colts made letting their franchise QB's go. You're comparing the Patriots to them, you're actually comparing Brady to a washed up Farve and Montana (as silly as they is), so I'm playing out reality for you.
Farve sucked, he sucked 2 out of the last 3 years with GB, he sucked 4 out of the last 6 years of his career. GB won a total of three playoff games during the last 9 years he was with them. He won a total of 4 playoff games during the last 12 years of his career. How can a rational and informed person argue the Patriots should part with Brady just like GB parted with Farve?
Montana had already lost his starting job to Steve Young two years before he was traded. Young became the starter in his 6th year with the 49er's, when he was 31 years old and a 2x SB winner before the 49ers parted with Joe. Joe was a decent QB after the 49er's traded him, still no TB late in his career.
As for the Colts, THEY SUCK, who wants to become the COLTS? who want to emulate them? They advanced to the AFC titles game one time since they parted with Manning, where they lost to Tom Brady 45-7. The Patriots have been to the AFC championship game all six years in that time frame. Meanwhile Manning went to two SB's and won one. Who would you rather be? The Broncos with Manning or the Colts without Manning in that time frame? Manning retired only after he stopped being good.
Brady and the Patriots? Two SB wins and three SB appearances in the last three years. All they and TB12 have done since you've been calling for them to part with Brady is be the best team in the NFL, while Brady continues to be arguably the best QB year after year, including his MVP 2017 season.
What more needs to be said? Your analogies are bad, and that's what I'm saying and talking about.
