Not really ... he had his chances in the first set , actually Roddick only had one BP and Mathieu had 3 just wasnt able to convert them .
My bet was based on their performance in the previous round where Mathieu really struggled against Sirianni .

Yeah, I'm just being an idiot. I just hate Roddick's game so much. Mathieu is owning him in the rallies, but like a mug, I just know he's likely to choke.

She won a contest from the baseline, but Yan's variety in her game thanks to regular success on the doubles circuit means she does have a Plan B. Her serve is not hopeless either, and it's hard to see the inconsistent and out-of-touch Savchuk making any impression here today. The Ukranian got here by just outlasting Katie O'Brien who is clearly also not up to this level and that formline does nothing to enthuse any supporters she may have .

Mad Bepa shouldnt have many problems either .

Agree that Anderson is a live dog against "Ivo" Isner having seen him this week. Only concern is he will wear down as he has played a lot of matches so far this week. He's pretty string-bean thin too, so that can't help.

Venus is really struggling with 1 win out of her last 4 matches , lost to Cibulkova in straight sets in Doha and another loss last week against Kvitova in Memphis . Traveling should also be a factor here because Venus played in Doha then went to the US and now India while Peng didnt play last week after he loss in Doha two weeks ago .
Both players with bad results in the last monthes but I think it should be enough for Peng not go lose 6:3 6:2 .

Really like this pick . Ferrero tanked in the first round to Andy and Mathieu pretty much dominated Roddick yesterday once the ball was in play but kept making many unforced errors and simply silly plays at times which cost him the match . Nadal struggled against Kohlschreiber in the first set but after this set he never looked back and beat the german in 3 sets , considering Kohlschreiber himself beat Andy Roddick at Australian Open this year we cant really blame Rafa for not winning this one straight sets because Kohlschreiber is playing very nice tennis this year .
I simply cant see enough cheap points for Andy to win this match because Nadal knows how to beat Roddick once the ball is in play .
