Still didn*t decide how I am going to bet on singles matches but all my doubles bets will be to win 2.5 units and very rare to win 5 units in big tournaments and in the finals .

5 January

Wager Type : Doubles

Qater ExxonMobil Open Doubles

Start time : 10:15 AM (EST) ( supposed to start in 40 minutes )

Igor Andreev/Jaroslav Levinsky vs Jeff Coetzee/Wesley Moodie

My pick is Jeff Coetzee/Wesley Moodie to win

Odds : - 245

Bookmaker : 5dimes

6.12 units to win 2.5 units

I remember to bet on them in this tournament last year and made a coin as they reached the finals. They are regular partners and finished in top 8 last season . Andreev is not much of a doubles player , Levinsky is solid but I dont rate his play very high , he is better on clay courts . All in all this should be a clear win for Coetzee and Moodie against team that isnt really a team as they have never played together before .

5dimes is the only bookie that always offers doubles matches , betandwin does as well but their start times are almost always wrong and odds arent great either .

so it would be good to open 5dimes account to bet on tennis... what books would you suggest me to open so that I can follow you on the season?

Only 5dimes and betandwin offer doubles matches , some other sites do as well but only for Grand Slams . I use pinnaclesports because have they best lines when it comes to pricing . Betfair is great for live betting , some people make insane amount of money trading in tennis matches.

Closer than it should be but they bounced back strong after the 2nd set loss .

YTD : 1-0 +2.5 units

5 January

Wager Type : WTA fav ML

Brisbane International. Brisbane, Australia

Start time : 7:30PM (EST) ( supposed to start in 3h10min )

Tathiana Garbin vs Alisa Kleybanova

My pick is Alisa Kleybanova to win

Odds : - 215

Bookmaker : pinnaclesports

5.37 units to win 2.5 units

I think Kleybanova is clearly the better player here . Alisa has by far the better serve and heavy groundstrokes . Garbin is an OK player on clay courts but I don*t see how she can beat Kleybanova on a hardcourt . In september Garbin lost 1-6 1-6 to Petrova who is almost same type of a player Kleybanova is and I think today she is going to have a lot of trouble as well dealing with power of Alisa Kleybanova .

took this one... wow... this a big play for me... decided to follow your money managment since I see you had a great previous season - won 300+ units on a 300-200 record...

could you tell me how do you set your unit size and how much units is your bankroll?
So if you have some money managment tips I would gladly take some notes

Thank you

wow... I'm even more impressed now... +300 units on a 300-200 record... if we say that average odd on all plays is -135, on a 300-200 record you would be up abot 20 units or so... and you are +300... seems like money managment is key to success here

I really hope she does win but she had her chances and momentum has changed and I have a nasty feeling the fat Russian chick Kleybanova will disappoint us today unless she holds her serve.

Nope , no money management at all ... I bet what I bet to win some cash . Most of the time I bet heavy favourites so I would be really a wrong person to tail in tennis .
This season tho I will try not to make more than to win 10 units bets otherwise it can quickly get out of hands with the swings .
