Wager Type : Set betting

US Open

Start time : unknown

Fernando Gonzalez vs Jarkko Nieminen

Will F. Gonzalez Win 3-0 ?

My pick is NO !

Odds : - 179

Bookmaker : pinnaclesports

8.95 units to win 5 units

Why ? Because Gonzo is a hothead and can lose a set anytime and Nemo can play tennis even if he wasnt great this season . Gonzalez had long week in China and hurt his leg in match against Reynolds , maybe it wasnt that serious but its just another point to back Nemo in this match .

Guess they are right saying better be lucky than good because luck was what I needed for Nemo to take a set there and he did win 3th set 7-6 .

Seriously if brazilian duo cant beat Tommy Boy and clay mug in doubles match at the US Open I will stop betting on 2 vs 2 . They are by far the better team , last week they won tournament in New Haven easily beating Bhupathi&Knowles in the finals .

WOW , this is just sick shit to watch how my money goes away , morons play like total fags , lost first set OK , break up in the 2nd set and 40-0 on serve just to lose 5 points in a row and get broken .
Last time I donated my money to bookies in 2 vs 2 match .

Novak Djokovic vs Robin Soderling

My pick is Robin Soderling + 4 games

Odds : - 126

Bookmaker : pinnaclesports

6.3 units to win 5 units

Dont think it will be as easy as stealing candy from Stadler in the previous round for Novak Djokovic today , Soderling got the tools for this surface , only question here if he can have good enough % of 1st serves in to keep it close . 7-6 , 6-4 loss would still do it Soumi

Samantha Stosur vs Jill Craybas

My pick is Samantha Stosur to win

Odds : - 209

Bookmaker : pinnaclesports

10.45 units to win 5 units

Craybas should have her hands full against Stosur who I think is really suited for this surface . Today Craybas saved 15 breakpoints out of 18 she faced against Shahar Peer , pretty sure Stosur wont waste so many chances . Samantha Stosur faced just 2 breakpoints against a solid player from Russia Makarova , fair odds I guess but Stosur should have way too much here .

Will ride with Stosur again against I think overrated Kirilenko who had an easy as cake draw here .

Way too high this one , mental guy like Soderling got same handicap and covered this for a push . Tsonga should keep it close with strong serve on this quick surface .

Guys sit in the 9th spot atm and we all know only 8 teams will qualify for Shanghai . Also they have good results at this tournament , last year lost in finals to Clement/Llodra who I rate way higher than them on this surface especially with this tournament being played in France so really not a shame , in 2006 they made semis here also losing a close one to another french duo .<!-- / message -->

Kendrick + Nemo = doubles = no thx

Cerretani and Fisher are solid doubles players even if they arent regular partners . Kendrick and Nieminen beat japanese duo which is no surprise at all on the other hand Cerretani and Fisher beat two solid doubles players Cermak/Wassen easily 6-3 6-2 .

Kerr + Lindstedt won this tournament last year and I think they are very solid doubles players , their opponents today will be T.Parrott/F.Polasek who are also decent but I think they are more suited for clay courts .
Lindstedt with Marc Gicquel beat them in Washington finals some weeks ago.

Solid + 140 price on M.Youzhny/M.Zverev over S.Aspelin/J.Knowle , if russian duo is interested in winning I think they can do it . Last week Zverev + Safin beat them in straight sets and now Zverev partnered up with Youzhny again , they won tournament in Halle earlier this year . Will skip it tho as you never know with those two , especially Youzhny .

Mikhail Youzhny/Mihail Zverev vs Jordan Kerr/Jamie Murray

My pick is Mikhail Youzhny/Mihail Zverev to win

Odds : - 175

Bookmaker : 5dimes

4.37 units to win 2.5 units

Kerr and Jamie Murray only played 3 tournaments together , last time was around a year ago , 3-3 record = nothing special . Both solid doubles players but not regular partners and I can see them struggle against solid singles players duo who will have advantage on serve .

On the other hand we russian duo who played 3 times together too but their results are much better than those of their opponents , 8-1 with 2 tournament wins , they just won doubles tournament in Tokyo this weekend . They already beat Kerr last week where he played with a different partner .

Support and motivation always a factor in doubles matches and here should be both , playing on home soil and motivation should also be there as they dont enter doubles competitions for just first round loss paycheck .
Should have huge advantage here on serve and they can play doubles .
