Hey CP, after last year's ass-whuppin in W1 we thought we'd spot you 2 starting QB's 4 picks with the Pac's 6th place team. What more the hell do you guys need to win a game out west anyway?

Tell you what, next time try Nevada or San Jose, they're WAC and more your speed.

yeah yeah i deserve that

TN could have lined up with jones at qb and ran sweeps the whole game and won if the coaching staff were not so fuckin dumb. i thought cutcliffe and his anicent stubborn ways were gone, but looks like more of same shit.

id not even call UCLA the 6th best team in the ***-10, talent wise they are on same level as vanderbilt.

coaching won (and lost) that plain and simple.

its a disgrace losing to that team, il admit it.

Ucla can chalk this win up to keeping Walkers D coaching skills, and hiring Neuheisel and Chow.

Fulmer, his staff, and the Vols players should ride a bus back to Tennessee after losing this game.

If UCLA still had Dorrell I believe they would have lost this game.

I feel for you guys. Seriously. Didn't Fulmer just sign a 10-year deal or something like that? GDAMN!

he got an extension with some clauses if he dont win 8 games a year. i like fulmer as the coach (ceo) , he just needs a better DC .

fulmer will be there till he retires , hes earned that.

and seriously this game didnt mean shit in the big picture. if they play like this in conference play , there will be problems. its a different atmosphere you guys just cantunderstand. like the average fan on the street in nashville had no idea who UT plays tonight. now when they play arkansas in november everyoen knows. there will be more interest among fans in the upcoming UAB game cause they have the work 'alabama' in the team name

im not downplaying it- i deserve any taunting you wanna throw conan heh.

a win wouldnt have been nice, but its not a tradgey. disgraceful yes, but big deal ? no. you didnt see UT celebrating on the field 2 yrs ago when they demolished cal in knoxville. like or no not, pac-10 games just dont stir emotions in most football fans east of arizona. im sorry its that way, im just stating facts.

Appreciate the honesty. I think it sucks when so many are so illiterate about CFB on a national level. Hope there will be more games like this one for the sake of the sport and for the sake of fans who need an education. That's what college is for, right?

UT still gets a brownie button for laying it on the line and scheduling something meaningful to all CFB fans. One day when there's a NC system, I hope they count games like this one 50 times over compared to the LA Lafayette's of this world. You know what I mean.

You'll get another shot at UCLA next year I think.

The difference in celebration is how the game is won. UCLA won in overtime, which was obviously an exciting way to win. If Pac 10 fans don't stir emotion, why were they celebrating if they don't care?

Shame on me for not giving the most deserving hat tip to special teams coordinator Frank Gansz, Jr., kicker Kai Forbath, and the player that blocked the punt and other player that returned it for 6.

Its nice that since the Vols have dumped their first game, most of the CP homer bs will be put on hold until next season.

im sorry i missed your picks this week. every post i could find of yours was antagonistic blabbering in otehr peopels threads and overusage of the word homer. we get it, you like to use the word.

how about we go head to head in a contest for 100 bucks ? or 50 or 500, whatever you want to i dont care.

hell, ill even let conan hold the money.

I was posting week 1 plays starting in July, while most people were still thinking about last season, but you are funny with the almighty $100 challenge.

so thats a no eh ?

i like to talk football here with people who know the game. half the shit i say is tongue in cheek , over the top , just just to stir the fire of sports and gambling conversation with a few knowledgable people. (conan,wc bias) etc, but those people KNOW THE GAME and actually can add input to a football talk. you on the other hand, never have any solid, quality sports information to add , ever.

so man up and lets see what you know, or you keep sitting in your fence throwing stones like a woman.

You actually expect to chase someone away bashing you with a $500 challenge?

Dont be such a fawking homer or get used to a little heckling when your team loses.

Its part of what makes the forum entertaining.

The forum was so busy this weekend, frankly I had forgotten about this thread.

However, when Tenn lost, you were the person that came to mind, so when I saw you online I remembered you had made some thread about this game.

Alas, here it is.

oh i can take heckling , i expect it and respect it and accept it - if you add any value to the conversation beforehand. i

its just a lil creepy to have 13k posts and never have added any insights on any sporting event.

seriously. whats your deal ?

maybe you need a team to follow so you can tell us all about them . i nominate SMU. how about you go get some tape and study SMU games for us. run along now

Actually punk, it isnt a no.

If you really want to do something like that, Id like to know exactly what this silly challenge you have proposed would entail.

If you are wanting to do some silly challenge vs each other during the entire season, that isnt worth my time. However, if you would like to do something with a handful of games to try and prove your point, I probably would agree to something like that.

Also, how about we make the stakes a little more interesting than 500 since thats smaller than my average sports bet.

Frankly, 500 isnt enough for me to bother with a poster I perceive to be a punk.

Why not make it alot more than 500 since you are trying to act like some bigshot here?

Coach LT is the only regular cfb poster that Ive met and know well enough to trust holding any sum of money. If he agrees to hold the money, and I agree to the format and rules you propose, your challenge certainly will be accepted.
