The announcers said Tedford called his last timeout after the supposed stop for a safety. But it wasn't a review/challenge timeout. It was a timeout to hope to get the ball back.

Looks like two timeouts to me.

Have you read the posts I've made? I obviously didn't hear what they were saying and for the life of me can't understand why he didn't challenge it. I'm in no way trying to defend Tedford and his coaches, but it was such an obvious blown call that I'm afraid to assume that anyone could mess this up and fail to challenge it if they could.

Well start to believe. I posted the rules and the draft summary.

I gotta agree with Whore here. Whether Tedford had 1 timeout or 3, he should have thrown the red flag and let the officials know he means business. We're talking about a possible 9 point swing, and a 21-8 or 21-15 game going into the locker room. I still don't think it would have made any difference in the cover. But it could have made a difference in the outcome.

After this game, we don't need to hear a word about Cal for the rest of the yr. Seriously, anyone who thinks this team would finish in the top 5 (being generous - could say top 7) in the SEC needs to watch more games.

And after Oregon chokes (either today or whenever) we will once again have 1 Pac-10 team in the BCS. ASU is a fraud - sorry

Fair enough. It's just beyond me, especially after calling a TO which allowed more time for replays, why they didn't throw the challenge flag after the TO if they could. Logic says it's because they couldn't, but then again this is the same school that allows filthy hippies to squat in trees and prevent construction on campus, so perhaps anything is possible with Cal.

I will use one word to describe Cal from what I have seen so far:

SOFT

You had an alibi at the beginning with the time difference. However it is the 3rd Q & you are being punked out like little bitches.

Good teams and coaches don't have alibis.

And isn't this the same team and coach that completely folded and quit last yr?

That doesn't chance the fact that USC would win the SEC almost every single year. The SEC is the top conference, but USC is by far the best program.

Get real, even the best teams have had excuses or alibis for how teams performed & such. I'm not claiming Tedford is a great coach. He might be strong with X's & O's but is severely lacking in the emotion department & getting a rise out of his troops. He is to laid back at times.

If you had told me that Terps would only score 7 in the 2nd half I would've thought for sure that Cal would be coming back. Cal's offense is horrible today

7 drives into Maryland territory & 6 points to show for it. They are getting beat up on the OL. What is Tedford doing, showing no emotion which seems to carry over to his team. The only real emotion I see coming out is from their QB Riley.

HK I wouldn't blame the school for the tree sitters. It's those activist judges and commie Berkeley city officials that put those dirty bums in those trees, handing bags of their own shit down to their friends, etc. Real class. Tedford has had problems bringing recruits to the school for visits and then trying to hide the tree sitters from them... not to mention their shit facilities that he's been bitching about for years. A fucking thorn in his side. I sympathize with the dude.

I don't really understand the critisim of CAL..I think everybody's expectations were way too high for a team that went to a minor bowl last year and was returning only 13 starters, playing a Maryland team on the road who also went to a bowl last season returning 15 starters. Not sure what everybody really expected out of this game.

Of course you have to blame the university, it's THEIR property! You do realize the trees belong to the school and that the school has been proven in court to have the right to physically remove this filth, right? But they're not doing it because of their obsession with being PC. It's their religion afterall and we've been over this for years now. I wish Tedford would just go coach the 49ers offense or something.

EGD, that 3-4 defense doesn't look so good now that they get to try it out on a team with at least an average OL. They didn't exactly dominate MSU either. MD has been walking through them all day.

HK now you sound stupidl. Have you not been reading the papers? What to you expect them to do when there's a court injunction? Ignore it and end up next to the protesters friends in jail? They've been fighting it in court for almost 2 years. I know as much as you'd like to shoot them down out of the trees, it's not a real solution. You live in the BA right? That kind of shit comes down all the time. Fucking frustrating, legislating from the bench, the activist judges et al.

I've tried responding to you twice now Conan and both times my posts were lost because this server is such an incredible P.O.S. so I'm giving up now. Needless to say, I'm very aware of the politics involved in the situation but have now lost the desire to explain here how it's been an inside job by the University the whole time and they're the ones ultimately to blame.

Washington State MOPPED by Baylor
Cal embarassed by Maryland

Let's see what Oregon and UCLA do. Could be a humiliating day for the Pac-1 and the 9 dwarves

I'll grant you this HK, I am sure there are planted agents and turncoats for the tree sitters in the Cal administration. Too much politics in the neighborhood to think any different.
