Tebow turned the NFL a hard right into the back alley of political and religious zealotry. Parsing his QB talents has always been a mask over deeper motives involving either 1) locked-in early predictions regarding NFL draft picks or 2) prejudice against based on religion/politics. Reverse these reasons to find Tebow support. On religious/political grounds I detest this guy and will always cheer his failures. But I also despise Tebow because he dragged a hoard of religious zealots up into the stands of the NFL game where previously only drunkenness and regional stupidity reigned. Sooner this freak kicks off his political campaign and leaves us alone the better.

I haven't been wrong here yet. As a matter of fact, I've been right. Plenty of people said Tebow had no chance of going in the first round nor would he ever be an NFL starting QB. Those people were wrong, and now they are bumping 3 year old threads after one game saying "I told you so."
I said when I started this thread that he might not make it as a QB, but that he would play in the NFL for a lot of years. People saying I look stupid, even though I've been 100% correct so far.
I think you are confusing the fact that Tebow was a great College football player.. He isnt now or will he ever be an average NFL Player.. Hell Archie Griffin was a great College football player and was horrible in the NFL.. I doubt very strongly he will be on an NFL Roster next year let alone 2013

He is not playing on his own merit. Infact he is being played so the coach can realy show the fans that keep wanting him to play how much he sucks. Look, Tebow was a great college quarterback. Maybe even the greatest. But he is just not cut out to be an NFL quarterback and he doesn't have elite athleticism ala Brad Smith or Antwaan Randle-El to switch to another position. He's not that fast and has next to no quicks. To say he could easily convert to TE or H Back is ridiculous.
Well, for starters, Greg Olsen has been playing TE since at least high school, he has great hands, runs great routes, and can read defenses. We already know Tebow can't read defenses. What do we know about his ability to catch in traffic over the middle? His blocking ability? How is he as a route runner?

Ummm.... Greg Olsen is 6'5 255. I wouldn't say he is skinny. And you are vastly underestimating the importance of running great routes. How do you think someone small and slow like Steve Largent dominated people? His route running was among the best the NFL has ever seen. It's not like Tebow could flip a switch and all of a sudden become a great route runner.
