I don't understand the negativity about Tebow. Tebow is the most glorified college player since Staubach at Navy, maybe that's the reason for all the detractors. He'll make it easily as a pro QB. Only Stafford is a better pro prospect at QB this year.

Stop it.

Im won a lot of $$ with Florida winning the game but take a close look at what TEbow actually did. His 2 interceptions were 100 % his fault as He threw the ball almost right to the Sooner defenders. On the other hand, Bradford's 2 interceptions were both right in the hands of his receivers who bobbled the ball and the balls were intercepted. Neither interception was Bradford's fault. I believe that Tebow is a great college player but I see no way that He ever will be very successful in the NFL. If Bradford played for the far superior Gator team, He would have led the Gators to an easy victory ! Bradford won the Heisman because He not only had a better year but He is a far better QB. JMHO We shall see when they go PRO !

Tebow has no chance to make the NFL, but Juice Williams does?

Better re-evaluate.

Who's talking about Juice Williams? I don't think he will make it either, but I thinkl he might have a better shot. If not, it's only because Tebow has a higher profile.

P.S. Tebow is one of the Top 5 CFB QB's in the last 15 years.

A year after he graduates/leaves FU the question will be "Whatever happened to Tim Tebow?"

I just remember you saying you thought Juice had a shot to make the NFL. And saying that Juice has a shot, but Tebow has no shot......well, that's just wrong.

anyone saying he is a QB doesn't watch the NFL. He has never taken a snap directly under center (something you must do in the NFL), he never reads past the first option (something you have to do in the NFL), and he lowers his head and bowls over 19 yr old kids (something you won't do in the NFL). Fact of the matter is, he is a winner. He's a great kid to have on your team and someone that is a positive influence and someone you want around the rest of your team. Put him on special teams and watch him be the first guy down the field blowing someone up. Thats just how he plays. Maybe he can be a 2nd or 3rd option in your backfield, but I have my doubts about that too. He will be taken in the late 3rd or early 4th round and will fit in nicely on someones special teams/backfield. Will never be a QB at the next level as he just doesn't have the intangibles of an NFL QB.

Kermit,

Very good points. I was wondering where the criticism of Bradford was coming from. He was accurate on nearly every pass.

His accuracy is going to make him a very good NFL qb and I also think he leaves this year.

Crouch is a bad comparsion, as he wasn't even a passer at all.

Tebow doesn't look of safeties. Doesn't have the ability to dart the out routes.

if vick could qb in the nfl & make millions, i can't see why tebow can't do the same.

nobody has mentioned bobby joe douglas yet? at least i think that was his name. the bears qb.

no way he lasts til the 3rd round. he should play another year though. he loves jesus so much, he shouldn't care abt the dollars.

Vick made it in the NFL because he can throw the ball 70 yards with no effort and he is the quickest guy on the field when he is playing. He is not the fastest, but he is without a doubt the quickest and most elusive QB to ever play the game.

As for whoever said Tebow is the 2nd best option of QBs in the draft you should leave the forum and never come back. I am assuming you are either neighbors with Tebow or have had sexual relations with him. I can name 10 better pro options off the top of my head without even thinking. Heres a few who will be better QBs in the NFL. I mean Tebow wont even be a QB, so any of them taken will be better.

Stafford
Bradford
Sanchez
Freeman
^there are a ton better than Tebow but here are just 4. If you think Tebow has a chance over any of these guys I have lost all respect for you as a human being

You make my point; Tebow isn't a passer at all. I don't count 3 yard jump passes.

Great post. How anyone could say that Tebow is the top or 2nd best qb prospect is a joke and the best part is he says, he is only behind Stafford, who is the most overrated prospect.

Give me Sanchez or Bradford over Stafford any day of the week.

Sanchez to me has a chance to a be a stud. Bradford reminds me of Bernie Kosar, very smart, doesn't make mistakes and won't get you beat.

Agree with most of this post you made. Don't think Stafford is overrated as a pro prospect though. He has what you need in the NFL, and something none (maybe Sanchez) of the other qbs have. He has tremendous footwork and more importantly he reads past his first route (something very few college players do) he reads into his 2nd,3rd and 4th route for that matter. He will be a good QB. Actually reminds me a lot of Matt Ryan, and hes doing OK

Tim Tebow meet Mateen Cleaves (or Mike Hart).

Enjoy these days as your life will never be as good as it is now. These are truly the best days of his life. No reason to leave school early.

Its hard not too like Tebow for the kind of person he seems like he is but the media is doing a really good job making people dislike him. They just keep feeding us his story. The part I laughed loudest is when at the end of the game they ask him if he is leaving school to go pro, how many people (including me) thought that was a joke the second they asked him that. Why didnt they ask the other 10 players in that game (who will have a better future in the NFL) if they are going pro?

mateen Cleaves maybe the most accurate analogy.

3 Final Fours, 1 title and a cup of coffee in the association.

They are a perfect match as Cleaves was considered a great leader and everyone knew his game didnt translate to the next level much like everyone is saying about Tebow.

I cant wait too see his 40 yard time, I think it will be really slow, which unfortuately will dictate where and if he plays in the NFL. It will come down to this more then anything he does on the field.

Look at Mike Hart who broke records at Michigan. On the field he was exceptional. But everyone knew he was just too slow. He proceeded to run a 4.69 at the NFL draft combine and the rest they say is history.

I'm saying Tebow has no shot at QB. I think it's unlikely for Juice, but he may have the tools if he figures it out. He has a way stronger arm than Tebow.

I have a feeling I'll be seeing Tebow in the CFL in a few years time. I agree with most here and don't see him as an NFL QB at all.
