it would not surprise me if my Saints pick him up if he gets cut and moves him to either TE or FB.

A report I read somewhere recently from an unnamed scout or coach (can't recall which) seemed to indicate he has bad hands. That would rule out TE.

Plus I think the dude's just too damned arrogant to willingly switch positions. He still thinks of himself as a quarterback, when everyone else plainly sees he can't pass. It may be time for him to just hit the motivational speaker circuit and make his fortune fleecing every evangelical congregation in the country.

I think it's pretty easy to teach someone to sit on the bench. Don't think he's 'great' yet. And he hasn't even made the Pats team yet, could still get cut. I didn't read most of this thread but looks like Seymour was wrong about him being out of the NFL in 2 years and not getting picked up after the Jets released him. Don't know that it makes you right though about him being a great player...
He wanted to bet $500 on it. The least I can do is talk shit, since I didn't take his money. And I didn't puss out either, I just don't make bets when either one of us might be dead when the bet is settled. I think I made the thread during a CFB game. And what he did in college was nothing short of unteachable.

You should have waited to see if he made the final roster before resetting this thread.

i didn't know you guys had $ on this.
We don't. He wanted to bet $500 and I was like no, I'm not making a bet with an internet dude that won't be settled for two years.

[h=3]Tim Tebow Rumors: Cleveland Browns, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Options As Free Agent Quarterback Hangs In Hawaii With NFL Schedule Into Week 7[/h]By Matthew Jussim

nfl-free-agent-quarterback-tim-tebow.jpg

NFL Free Agent quarterback Tim Tebow

Tim Tebow is still an NFL free agent after getting released by the New England Patriots before the season started and while teams like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Buffalo Bills or Cleveland Browns could be a nice fit, the star was seen over the weekend in Hawaii while vacationing with family.
According to E! Online and TMZ.com, Tebow was spotted in Hawaii over the weekend and looked in very good shape as he spent time with family on the beach. The quarterback was spotted in pictures with his family, including his sister Katie and while the 26-year-old is still unemployed, there could be some options if a team wants to sign him, as the Bills are dealing with some injuries, while the Browns and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are having some subpar play at the position.
The Bills seem set at quarterback for now with Thad Lewis injured, as they signed Matt Flynn after he was released by the Oakland Raiders. As long as EJ Manuel doesn't have any setbacks in his return from an injury, Buffalo is likely set at the position. The team signed Flynn after he was demoted and released by the Raiders and he said that the Bills were interested in him soon after he was released, as they knew Manuel would be out for at least a few weeks.
The team played into overtime with the Bengals and Thad Lewis looked good in the game, but he could be missing next week's contest against the Dolphins, making Flynn a possible starting option. Head coach Doug Marrone said that Lewis feels good and that his MRI came back "clean", meaning he could be in line to start against the Dolphins.
The move for Flynn is another chapter in his saga, as he signed with the Seahawks last year before getting beat out by Russell Wilson and then after getting traded to the Raiders he was beaten out again by Terrelle Pryor and then he was demoted and released. Flynn did get the chance to start one game for the Raiders, but he did not get the chance to do much, as he was sacked seven times and threw a pick with only 227 yards passing. Flynn now could get another chance in Buffalo and he will likely stick around until Manuel is fully healthy.
Flynn said he was happy to get a "fresh start" and that is something Tebow needs as well. Tebow has not had the chance to sign with anyone since being released by the Patriots, but with the Browns looking bad under Brandon Weeden and the Buccaneers losing again to the Eagles and staying winless, there is a slight chance Tebow could get a shot, although it appears to be unlikely. The jaguars are also winless, but they have been consistent in not going after him.

none of those teams are interested in him and they shouldnt be.

Tebow is done, simple as that.

Now if he is willing to change position, to fullback maybe. That is a different story

dont know what the other 17 pages in this thread say, but i was right... didnt amount to much..

actually they dont use the same ball.. the college ball is like a pee wee football . i can throw it 50 yards . an nfl ball is much larger..

as far as tebow goes , i dont think he amounts to much in the nfl . as a qb that is..

Don't feel sorry for Tim. He is already a millionare in his mid 20's, has a NAtional championship, a Heisman trophy, and has landed a grade A top flight job most could only dream of as his first broadcast job working on air broadcaster for the SEC Network. Average person would have to be in business for 10-15 years before they could get that gig
