Kid is a great football player and will play in the NFL for a long time. Will it be at QB? Probably not but he's won 5 more games at QB than most people thought he would with sheer guts and will. I take this as meaning he's better than Jay Cutler. You did say Cutler is about as good as an average NFL backup QB. I assume a slightly below average NFL QB is better than an average backup NFL QB.

Tebow hasn't made any costly mistakes so far. This is one of the main reason's he's had success. He's so inaccurate the defense can't even pick him off, plus he doesn't fumble when he runs and he converts his backward passes. Turnover free is a big advantange.
