Just because it is legal in some states doesn't mean that employers need to tolerate it, especially when they are committing millions of dollars. He is a loser, plain and simple. This opportunity is the ONLY chance this clown has to make a decent living, and he is pissing it away (no pun intended) because he can't abide by the rules. I would ban him for life, he has had more than enough time to get his shit straight.

ban him for life for smoking weed but allow ray rice to be eligible to play. What a world we live in

They make synthetic pee and sell it at head shops. You can also bring someone else's pee with you in a small bottle. There are ways around it if you need to pass a test. These athletes are just lazy and/or stupid.

Never said I would reinstate Ray Rice. I fail a drug test at my job, I get fired on the spot, no chance for rehire. Why should this be any different?

I don't know man.
Ive seen some pretty talented people in my line of work get fired over weed.

Im not talking only 20 people in the world type talent but highly sought after talent never the less.

I agree with you the rules are dumb but it is the rules so he has no excuse .

So if he don't like the rules of his given profession he needs to find other work which is basically what's happening

and he may be perfectly happy not playing an extremely violent health threatening sport that doesn't allow him to smoke weed. i just wish a case like this would cause the nfl or SOMEONE to say hey, maybe these rules don't make any fucking sense and guys involved with murders and rapists and wife beaters shouldn't be tolerated and guys who smoke weed maybe we can cut them some slack

if he was digging ditches with other guys on a highway it would make more sense to have him drug tested

Rules are rules, you accept a contract of employment, you agree to the terms. If you dont intend to honor the terms, don't sign and take the money.

I'm in full agreement with you that these rules are dumb but they are rules and until they get changed they must be followed or be prepared to face the music.

Everythimg you say is 100% correct.

Its funny how many people in my line of work do coke and meth but not weed because weed stays in your system longer.

Weed is the most harmless of all the drugs but it is the easiest one to test for because it can stay in your system for 60 days with just a simple urine test and even longer with a hair test.

But cocaine and meth, no big deal as that leaves the detection phase in 3 days or less.

If they would legalize weed I believe less people would do coke and meth. I could be wrong but that's a theory of mine.

He smokes weed; so what. It's not my thing but seems a lot of people like weed.

If I am an owner I play him even if suspended. Goodell wants to say something I let him know I have a lot more money and influence than he ever will. Then you hire people to start hurting his family, then buy votes to get him out of the league all while digging dirt on his past life because when someone like him rises to be commissioner, there is a lot of dirt.

If they think Mark Cuban is difficult to control although a different sport, I would be an absolute nightmare for them.

Yeah, it doesn't make sense. Alcohol is the gateway drug. Much more dangerous than weed for sure.

Weeds a gateway to mass incarceration. That's about it

And the worlds funions supply

I think the lack of weed legalization might be a gateway to cocaine and meth.
Since weed is so easy to detect some people are forced onto the harder stuff because it can be hidden better.

I bet if weed was legal this would satisfy some people into not doing the hard stuff.

I know for a 100% fact some people that do much harder drugs then weed simply because it leaves your system much quicker then weed.

They would rather do weed but since it stays in the system up to 60 days they are forced into the harder drugs they can hide better.

There ought to be a study on this.

People may have it backwards .

Imstead of weed being a gateway drug to the harder stuff it may in fact be more a case of the illegalization of weed is the gateway to harder drugs .

I know people that would quit cocaine today if weed was legal

The only thing holding this up is the religious right.

What republicans should do is increase the punishment for all the other drugs and make weed legal.

This would make everyone happy.

It would make the religious people happy. It would make the states happy with higher taxes. It would make the drug dealers happy because the street price of all the other drugs would go even higher .

You people should vote for me I'll get all this shit done and make everyone happy.

Just send your donations to choptalk.com
I will make vlad VP and wear white pants to the state of the Union address .

I will get the endorsement on this bill from both Jerry Farwell Jr and Garry Johnson.

When has there ever been a solution that the extremes of both parties can agree on?
