I've made a Startling Discovery. That involves Hockey.
I grew up in a place where there were very few Hockey fans and totally no one around me knew anything about Hockey and my whole Sports Life = Zero Hockey. Therefore: I did not watch Hockey, or pay attention to it in the least.
Only after seeing guy's posts on RX Forum about....Hockey did I even watch my first Hockey game.
I liked it but failed to be really "moved" by it, like, totally inspired to "Get Into" Hockey
but then: during these Stanley Cup Playoffs I began to bet Player Props, such as "Evgeny Malkin (PIT) vs. Kyle Turris (OTT) Most Goals & Assists"
That one would have pushed, this past game and I didn't bet that anyway but I did good with Evgeny vs. Props recently and also Ryan Getzlaf and whateverhisnameis Silfverberg (IIRC both of Anahiem Ducks) were good guys too, to side with.
Point is that betting these Player Props, I discovered, really led to me getting into Hockey. I'd watch most of the games. Even when there was Playoff Basketball and a Baseball Game on opposite!!!
I was watching Hockey!!!!
so if you are like I was: not really into Hockey but desire to BE more into it so as to have another (really very viable, potentially +EV) lane of Betting open to you...
Try betting Player Props.
It appears that Sharp Player Prop bettors cause the lines to move, on occasion. Player Props maybe a Hidden Gem.
Thing is though: The Most Viable amongst these are generally -160 so I parlay these with my Top Baseball Play and right now, a nice NBA Prop such as Jae Crowder Over 22.5 Total Points/Rebounds/Assists though I'm sure Jae C. of late has been lined out at more like O/U 25.5 P/R/A...
I'm 3-0-1 last 4 on my Prop Betting of which team will get the most Penalty Minutes.
Betting on that, I found, did not make Hockey more Inspiring for me to watch, did not make me wanna watch but those Player Props sure have.
