The hospitals don't just eat the bill, they give it to paying customers. And you're right, the problem is that doctors are forced to treat everyone regardless of their ability to pay.
yes those who are uninsured then use the system and not pay have driven up some of
the costs on those who do. healthy people no
buying insurance has been part of the problem

Dave, how dare you cite medical professionals representing the very best of their profession.

The quality, the professional standing, the education, the real world experience, the knowledge base of Obamacare opponents so far outweigh that of it's proponents it's an all time mismatch. It's a TKO 11 seconds into the fight, it's the USA vs Haiti in a war

Calling it a success is akin to calling the 2015 Phillies a success

It's working as much as the poor inner city democratic base is working

One has to work at being uninformed to think obamacare is a success. How can one miss so many facts?

Liberals think politics is akin to being a fanatic, and that's one big hurdle for society to overcome

It is what it is. Some people just refuse to accept that fact.

Like you said, who am I suppose to believe, medical professionals representing the very best of their profession or a man who makes his living lying.

Easy choice.

P.S. Tell Lisa Bella sends her love.

Working? Really?

When the U.S. Supreme Court upheld Obamacare Thursday, President Barack Obama spoke of the time he met a mom whose son was saved thanks to the law. But when asked to explain the story, the White House went silent.

“And they’ve told me that it has changed their lives for the better,” the president declared. “I’ve had moms come up and say, my son was able to see a doctor and get diagnosed, and catch a tumor early, and he’s alive today because of this law. This law is working. And it’s going to keep doing just that.”

After the detailed aside was made, The Daily Caller News Foundation reached out to White House press secretary Josh Earnest directly asking for some additional details including the context of the conversation and what were the circumstances leading to the president meeting the mother.

Despite several requests over two days, the White House has refused to substantiate the story.

Though supporters can point to numerous success stories, opponents also have no shortage of examples from people who were directly hurt from the law.

People have lost their insurance plans, lost their doctors, taxes have gone up for many and the deficit has increased. But most of all, the law didn’t achieve its original purpose of insuring every American.

“I will sign a universal health care bill into law by the end of my first term as president that will cover every American,” Obama said.

PolitiFact, a nonpartisan fact checker, has since listed this statement as a broken promise with several million still not covered.

“Despite spending nearly $1.8 trillion in new spending from 2014 to 2023, the law falls far short of universal coverage,” the conservative Heritage Foundation noted in a report. “Indeed, Obamacare is projected by the CBO to leave 31 million uninsured after a decade of full implementation.”

I'd like to know how this person qualified for Obamacare :think2:

Ted's Story He wrote recently

The Obamacare subsidies saved my life. Now, I’m scared the Supreme Court is going to gut them.

In 2010, at 54, I was diagnosed with non-alcoholic cirrhosis (end-stage liver disease). It’s debilitating, and a transplant is the only cure.

At that time, I owned a jewelry store with my wife in Pawleys Island, S.C.On weekends we would meet friends, walk on the beach and join in community events. My wife and I would travel regularly to see our daughters and take annual vacations. We enjoyed a rich and full life.

The disease quickly robbed me off all that. One of my first symptoms was an accumulation of ammonia in the brain. I became highly forgetful — I forgot how to get out of a car and how to answer the phone. I couldn’t remember how to make change for customers. One day, I tried to go home from work and got lost.

As the disease worsened, I tried to make the best of it. My wife and I were lucky to have private insurance for high-risk patients. It cost $2,000 a month with a $5,500 deductible. That cost was high, but we didn’t have any other choice. My liver ailment and diabetes were pre-existing conditions that would have made it impossible to find a new plan.

I stopped working at the store in November 2012. My life was a roller-coaster ride of monthly blood transfusions, hospital admissions, severe memory loss and the loss of my ability to drive. I slept most of the time and depended on my wife for all of my care. We would drive 3.5 hours to Duke Medical Center several times a month for transfusions.

Treating my condition eventually took up so much time that we closed our store. In June 2013, we sold our home in Pawleys Island and moved to Durham, N.C.

In October 2013, I got a letter from my insurance company telling me that my existing high-risk insurance would be ending effective Dec. 31, 2013. I was told that if I wanted continued medical insurance, I would have to find another provider.

I was terrified. At this point, I was so ill that my wife had to be a full-time caregiver for me. We were living on my Social Security Disability check, a drastic change in income for both of us. We could not afford the hundreds of thousands of dollars a liver transplant would have cost. And without insurance, I would have been dropped from the transplant list. I would have died.

On Jan. 1 this year, I started on the Obamacare insurance. I now pay just $126 a month for insurance; a federal government subsidy covers the rest. If we had to cover the full cost of our health care, we would have just $574 left each month for all of our other expenses, including food and medicines.

By April, I was dying. Then, miraculously, on April 3, a liver became available. I was given a second chance. I had the liver transplant, and my insurance covered the entire cost of the procedure.

From my signing up with OC you are required to answer alot of personal questions...... income/assets/ETC..... Interesting he qualified, My payment for OC was the same as Ted's and I received a $372 subsidy based on my income. I did not have a Jewelery store nor a sale of a home on Pawleys Island to report :think2: I did have a full life but a Rich life? Said it b4 but now it is reality.... Good Luck Ted!

It cracks me up to see them constantly use the CBO.....when the CBO made their estimates for the Iraq war, the right called them the "left leaning CBO" .......now their word is gospel on obamacare. Amazing.....considering that dope acebb was propping up a few years ago about all the job losses that obamacare would cause.....that turned out to be wildly inaccurate.

Hahaha! Dude, if I were a politician, I would take Willie, Dave, Russ, BFL, Valley Girl Snoop, Asian Snoop, and Joe... sit them in a room, ask them a series of questions on what we should do... and then do the complete opposite. It's pretty much a guarantee for success. I've never seen people more ignorant and more wrong than these clowns. It's hilarious, and they continue believing in all their spam emails they get. You would think after being wrong for 6 years, they'd start second guessing their approach to understanding how things work. We honestly should be paying these guys for the entertainment they provide.

Amazing what a dumb liar you are. I never propped up anything "a few years ago" since I posted an article about CBO reporting (one you laughably claimed I said) in 2014. You realize it is 2015, right dumb fuck? Further, the CBO estimates run through 2024, therefore isn't possible the estimates turned out be "wildly inaccurate" as it is only 2015, and the report was issued last year.

You simply are incapable of posting here without making dumb shit up and lying. Don't worry shit stain, the permanent post review fat loser is cheering on your stupid lies.
