FACT: the vast MAJORITY of AIDS cases are:

1) Homosexuals

2) Drug users

3) Prostitutes

4) Any individual who's stupid enough to come in contact with any of the above "high risk" categories (Magic Johnson, a good example).

AIDS is caused by one thing: sinful behavior.

And it's bad ECONOMIC, moral and social policy to be subsidizing sinful behavior.

Is money being taken away from cancer research?

And would putting more money into cancer research shorten the time needed to eradicate cancer? I don't think we could be working any harder than we are right now to find a cure.

AIDS is impossible to cure it goes directly into the cells. The real question here is, this is the first modern population, with a massive community that doesn't put its plague victims away from the host population, to not allow more infection.
