Yes many are, but the larger majority are not (yet).
Locals and their players (probably the local posing as a player) post all of the time stating how its so much easier for them to play with local booking and more or less trying to persuade others to do the same.
To say that local books and bookies don't hope for an offshore collapse is like saying Pepsi and Coke don't compete for business...

Sounds like a deal, I can agree to disagree and none of us are always going to see eye to eye, which makes a place like this so valuable and entertaining.
But saying a guy can't post his opinions just because he works here, when at the same time we are allowing everyone else to express themselves much more freely, simply isn't fair.

Defying, seem like a nice enough guy but this post really as stated a couple times is still a slap in the face of anyone wanting to get paid from Synbet (I'm not one of them).
One of (hell the only reason) I ever click on a link in this forum is because I had always "thought" therx was here to truly help if we ever didn't get paid. We were pushed and pushed that synbet was a great new book, got special offers to join because they had a special deal with therx, beat over the head with advertising, telling us not to worry synbet is a great book, etc etc (no need to rehash all that). They fold and no one will address any of that. Its like it never happened?
Then the book that gets pushed and pushed (EasyStreet) we get a mod saying "well well EasyStreet didn't close, who wants some crow?"hno:
I still love coming here to shoot the shit but I'm also not going out of my way to support the forum through signups like I had in the past. My view of how therx could ever help me has truly been eye-opening.

I apologize, truly apologize if it's insulting to the people who were affected by Synbet. I feel awful about it, I followed every moment of the fiasco in hopes of reading some good news on the subject. At the time, I wasn't a moderator, nor was I an account holder of Synbet, yet it bothered me to an extreme. If you were one of the ones cheated out of their money from Synbet, you have a right to be fustrated. It bothers everyone including the Mods that this happened. I know that Hache worked on the issue tirelessly to come up with a solution. When I became a mod, I even gave my opinion on the matter on what more could be done. I am not ignorant to the fact that was a dark day for the RX and the offshore industry as a whole.
Again, my point wasn't to insult anyone. I was just giving feedback on my experience and how surprisingly PERFECT it went. Call it ignornace, but I thought I was reporting good news and the response would be "good to hear". I said 4 of my 6 payouts came in the first 3 days. Thought this was worth mentioning.
On a quick side note, RX has changed its policy on deleting post. There has only been 1 post deleted in this thread, it was a way over the top remark. Douglas, again, completely off base saying he isn't allowed to voice his opinion. I think youll see this entire thread is proof of that as there are plenty of opinions.
My apologies to the entire RX community if my message was insensitve to past matters. I was looking forward, optimistic that the worse was behind us.
