Cause you said the post was asinine cause you stated that more blacks are killed by other blacks... So why Lott and riot over something that happens a fraction of the time compared to black on black...
So why is ferguson such a big deal, when they have a much bigger problem.
It's like yelling and screaming at your doctor cause you have an ingrown nail, yet not acknowledging you have a huge Tumor growing out of the side of your head that's bleeding and covered in pus and maggots
NFL, it's like using the N word. It's accepted by the black community if they use it, but not when a white guy does it. I'm not saying it's right but it is what it is.
So, what's the outrage in Ferguson about? Well, a young unarmed black man was shot 6 times in broad daylight by a cop. Now, I know the kid was not a saint. He was a drug user and a thug. I get all that. But, what that community sees is a white cop (47 of 50 cops are white in Ferguson) shooting a young kid for no reason. On the heels of TM being shot in Florida and not getting perceived justice, they see this as round 2 and they aren't going to let it stand.
This whole protest thing has just gotten stupid beyond reality. Tonight, there may be just as many white people standing around with their cell phones out as it has become like protestor theater walk and everyone tries to incite or bait the police to react. Media people are almost tripping over themselves and the crowd looking or creating a story with everyone wanting their fifteen minutes. There is also a bunch of people with coolers sitting there drinking watching and laughing at this on the streets. The media needs to just stay home. As soon as the media stops covering the story so will these protestors.
I just read an account of the incident from a friend of the cop who called into a radio station tonight.
She claims the cop told her the cop pulled up and asked the kids to get out of the street. When they did not move, he tried to get out of his cruiser and Brown punched him and grabbed for his gun. The guys then ran and the cop ran after them telling them to freeze with his gun out. Brown then turned around and ran full speed at the cop and he unloaded 6 rounds until the kid fell 2-3 feet in front of him.
I think this account is believable but who knows?

We'll never know the true answer but I'd tend to think someone brazen enough to nonchalantly walkout of a c-store with unpaid for cigars and then put his hands on the neck of the owner/worker like it was nothing probably wouldn't have too much reservations F'ing with a cop. He was so casual in this process that it had to be pretty normal behavior for him to be that disrespectful towards any type of authority.
Maybe he was on drugs that day and not thinking as clearly, who knows.
I do agree if not for that idiot in Florida thinking he was the police, then people wouldn't be nearly as salty about this.
Sadly, the ones perpetrating the Violence in Ferguson now are the Professional rabble rousers that come in, and do this shit without regard for the local community that they are messing up. Sad, sad situation. Capt. Ron Johnson is a hero, trying to do some good in his own community, but the crowd is being incited by these assholes.

At least two people were shot in the violent overnight melee and 31 people were arrested. The Highway Patrol spokesman also called for demonstrators to gather only during the daytime so criminals can "no longer mask themselves behind peaceful protesters." He said that would allow authorities to "deal with those who are bent on ruining our community" under the cover of darkness.

Not confirmed that is what actually happened, it's just rumors, but it's a lose-lose situation.
He goes to trial and if he walks... More riots.
He goes to trial and is sentenced... Loss of another son/father/husband who won't be there for his family
Can't win here. But I believe he was just doing his job based on the ZERO prior incidents he has had in the past, and I feel he didn't decide at that moment "Hey, I'm going to kill this guy just for the fun of it"... It doesn't fit his past with what has been found out about him and his diligence to do his job well in the bad area he was assigned.
Sad thing is, even if he is 100% innocent, I believe he will be sentenced just to appease the masses
