BJam could have used Spiros' mailing list and would've hit 90+% of Royal's customers.

FatFrank - I think Spiro and Scotty have too much class and professionalism to get into a little girl Pissing Match with Roberto in a posting forum.

You're so right about the common list BOTH of these books have. But this character want s to make it look like something was STOLEN from them and that Spiro is not the honest business man that we all know he is based on his great payout and bailout track record.

NO LIST WAS STOLEN from Royal

This is going to get very ugly.
Joey you are right.

I am more upset about the customer list not for the fact that they were stolen from a sportsbook, but because they are confidential customer inforomation. If it is true what another oster said and that the email had the customers name on it... that just ins't right.

yucky..
more about this later

FF, Roberto sent his complaint by email 21 days ago. After 3 weeks, apparently nothing changed.

Personally, I'd pick up the phone & call, but that doesn't appear to have happened here.

Pick up the phone guys-no one benefits from this being a public discussion.

No doubt... No need to steal Royal's list when one could use OLY's. Think about it

TTinCO - I totally agree with you...but maybe you need to call little Roberto and explain it to him because he is blinded by his EGO and doesn't relize he is making himself look very stupid and professionally imature by airing this here.

Agreed...

Royal, IMHO, is STILL ON SHAKY GROUND and fighting with Spiros on forums will only hurt them more.

I can agree with that, FF.

From what I can see, Royal wants Spiro to rein in Scotty, and Royal isn't accusing Spiro of stealing the list - I assume they're accusing Scotty et al of doing that.

And people get pissed at customers for not calling books to settle disputes before airing their dirty laundry in public.

Do you consider it ethical, part of the norm in this business, don't care, or what? I can give you my word about receiving that email on Aug. 22nd with my first name in it, which to me means they had the customer list, or at least a portion thereof - very easy to transfer to disk, even easier to email it as an attached document to themselves from work.

I would hazard a guess that Royal considers this an important issue to them - the question is, is this common-place, accepted practice, or does Royal have a beef here?

Jazz of course if that was done I think its wrong what does me being a MOD make what I think any different then you? I am just like you in the forums only I have the edit key...no difference in what my opinion is or what yours or anyone else's is.

I do not think oly would want to let go of customers for BJ. It's a partnership aimed at more business, not the same business.

The General - What we'd really like to see in this thread is customers of Royal that claim to be harrased by www.BetJM.com posting how and when they were harrased.

Come on Royal customers back-up your complaints.

Do you really think Royal's list would bring in more new business... in other words, what % of Royal's list is NOT on OLY's?

IB - you have it in for Royal big time, you say BJ don't have the list, well the evidence is they do but it's a tough business and Royal will survive and learn from being a little naive.

This issue has more to do with the buyout offer than anything else.

It's not exactly a longshot to assume that some people were less than happy with the outcome.

So what does that prove?.
