The idea that things will be "bleak for the Ducks" after this game is a little hyperbolic. They went into the #5 team's stadium and played I tight until the end (covering no less). Obviously there QB play will be worse than with MM, but no need to say this game is an example of some horrific downfall. Oregon is going to be a serious team, this year, and in future years.

This game played out exactly like my write up..... What a joke of a coordinator Scott frost is.... I said he would use the same damn formation 20 times; and he did.... I said he would refuse to make adjustments and he did.... Sure Vernon Adams missed that wide open td but how about the very next play not calling a timeout to get your perfect third down play to make sure you stay in fg range and give yourself a chance... The coaches lost that game... Anyone who really watched that game understands that... Absolute shame because that was a good football game between two teams and the Oregon coaching staff dicked them

Agreed, people are always quick to jump ship with a loss... This guy obviously thinks an elite program is somehow going to take a nose dive.... Even tho they will still likely play in the pax 12 title game, possibly win and possibly end back up in the playoff mix lol

we'll end up running the table and be back in the playoffs... tough loss...Pretty obvious Adams had a tough night throwing the deep ball with that banged up finger....defense was actually not bad... Offense will be tough to deal with by seasons end...nice cover by us though

Agree 100% as long as the mentality stays and the team is hungry to win.... It's just brutal watching a team with so many playmakers get dicked by an awful OC... I've said it for years now, Scott frost was a terrible hire. He has no idea what talent he actually possesses or how to use it. He doesn't know how to get the ball to those playmakers in space. His concepts are slow and simple, easy for defenses to read, it's really frustrating. Pisses me off beyond belief to be honest with you.... I see all the flaws on tv; granted I'm not an OC but I truly feel there are much better candidates out there to run the ducks offense. He is literally handcuffing our offense and moving us backwards... DAMN IT HE PISSES ME OFF... Bad time clock management at the end while In fg range and piss poor play selection all game against an aggressive front seven... Just stupid, stupid offensive football

Oregon cover.

But looks like the Oregon "dynasty" is all but over. The future will be bleak. I feel for Oregon fans. The decline era is about to begin.

Lose on the road by 3 to the #5 team in the country and the dynasty is over. face)(*^%

also scratching my head over some of these play calls...you have to get these skill players out in the open to operate.. when he did do that, plays were being made..

I also believe execution wasn't there especially on the deep paterns. The play call for Marshall on last drive which got Marshall wide open in the end zone was a great play..Adams missed again on the pass..There were other plays too that were just missed..good plays but not executed

Really good game went how I thought, 3 pt msu win.. What did u guys think of LJ Scott? Kid has a bright future.. I was really impressed with ducks. Thought they played well and looked good. Was very impressed with QB even with banged up hand. Skill players are so dangerous.. I think only team to challenge them will b USC. Early season loss on road to a top 5 won't hurt them in the end if they run the table.

Lj scott is a house and will only get better with time... He's built like Royce freeman, almost the same size, both guys are 230.... I expect him to be pretty damn good in his next two seasons with Sparty. Once cook leaves they will ride him like Pitt rode Conner and Wisconsin road Gordon lol

Yeah as the timing is off for sure.... Play calling is atrocious..... Putrid.... And overall just mind boggling. Scott frost can't seem to figure out how to get playmakers the ball in space

lol T! No chance... Duckies should only get better as the year goes on and should be able to get into the pac 12 title game and maybe even win it

This goes back a few years, one thing I have noticed is they almost always on 4th and 1 try to hammer it up the gut and against a stout defense it always gets stuffed. DNK why they still do this they don't have a massive O-Line and it never works.
