Spartan stadium will be the loudest stadium Adams has played in. Last year Mariotti was the difference for Oregon. Spartans have been waiting for this game since last years game ended. If Cook is on his game and the MSU OL can dominate Spartans win.

Sparty has had trouble with teams that are fast. Oregon has plenty of that especially at skill positions. The Oregon passing game and return game versus the Mich St secondary and cover teams make me think this is a high scoring game. Despite everyone thinking Under, I'm going to be the contrarian and go OVER. Western Mich threw the ball pretty effectively against Sparty and I don't believe they have near the speed and skill of the Oregon WR's. Also they broke a couple of long returns against Sparty and Duck return game is very solid. WMU averaged 40yd/return. I like a high scoring game and I will play the Ducks on the ML.

This. 100 times over.

Michigan State's defense missed a high number of tackles against WMU last week. Oregon's skill position players will turn those missed tackles into long TDs.

I have some major questions about Oregon's defense...but I just don't think MSU's offense has the firepower to keep up. Very generous ML for the dog...I'm taking it.

The lastvtwo comments are very much appreciated...I said I won't put my feelings or biased nature into this, but this is basically my same thought process and view point on the game. Wish everyone the best on their plays.... Oregon now +4 and climbing

Agree with WinOne and JDeuce.
Usually i'm with the better "in the trenches" team but I have a gut feeling that Msu is missing some of its big time players with leadership/talent (and coaches) more than is being cooked into this #. We know Ore plays well early and is fine away from home contrary to popular belief. Also like the over. Should be a great game.

Charles Nelson who didn't play against E Washington is going to play this week which adds even more speed.

A Ducks homer here, not sure what to expect totally but OVER 65 looks like the way to go.

I'm on the over too. Oregon's offense runs plays at amazing speed…lots of clock stoppage on 1st downs, incomplete passes, scores, etc. They didn't show their true offense last week, saving the surprises for this game. Vernon Adams is not Mariota, but he's an equal passing-wise. MSU's elite defense of 2 years ago is not what it used to be, and they looked so-so defending WMU last week.

Oregon's pass defense should also get lit up by a more unpredictable MSU offense(I'm sure they also played vanilla offensively last week). I think they'll open up the long and medium range pass game knowing they'll have to keep up with Oregon's scoring. If they don't, they're crazy considering how easily Eastern Washington scored on a very young Duck secondary. Cook can make all the passes.

Has anyone else noticed the RLM on the total? Seems like everyone is on the over (84%) yet the total is now down to 65.5 after opening up at 67.5. I was thinking about the over here as well, but this makes me pause.

On the over. MSU isn't built to stop these teams who play fast and stretch the field. Look at the Ore/OSU/Baylor scores last year. Oregon can't stop anyone. Should be a lot of points, 42-35 type game.

Great input guys. Now that it's game day I'll be putting together my own write up and letting everyone see where my thoughts are at on this game. Most people shouldn't care because I'm clearly not a professional capper lol, but I'll do it anyways just to voice my opinion and concerns on this game. I'll have the write up done in a couple hours, headed to run some errands first, Bol on everyone's action guys

Saw this in a writeup from a tout and have to laugh at it, makes you wonder if they even research games.

Vernon Adams will play in his first true road game at the highest level of football.

Sparty cannot cover kicks. WMU lit them up and even had a couple of long returns called back.

I guess visits to Washington or Oregon St don't count cause it's not in the south or midwest?

Oregon cover.

But looks like the Oregon "dynasty" is all but over. The future will be bleak. I feel for Oregon fans. The decline era is about to begin.
