That is a highly unlikely theory. Why do you think they were checked at halftime? This isn't the first time that teams have thought that....that's why. This has been around the league before this past week.
We know the balls were inspected 2.5 hours before the game. At some point before then, the balls were deflated. Why is it so hard to believe that the pats cheated? It isn't like thass an unusual thing? You hear as far back as pats/rams superbowl from guys like marshall faulk and mike martz about the pats cheating. You think it's just sour grapes? Then why is the sour grapes never about cowboys or steelers dynasty? Just pats?

Its EXTREMELY hard to believe that they stuck a needle in those balls right before game time without anyone noticing. Utter nonsense. And if I'm proved wrong I'll come in here and call them CHEATERS myself. Brady and Belichick both said they did nothing wrong so if they are proved otherwise they may get the death penalty. There are cameras EVERYWHERE in that facility and they willingly and immediately gave the every tape and employee cell phone record over to the NFL.
If you look up sour grapes in the dictionary you will find a picture of Marshall Faulk. He is the biggest cry baby because they didn't win that game. There was no taping of the walk thru...didn't happen. Goodell gave Walsh full immunity to expose the Patriots (the same Patriots that fired Walsh and said he was terrible at his job), Walsh provided all sorts of tapes that he had kept or duplicated. Not one of those tapes had the Rams walk thru. This is what losers do, they cry when they lose. They thought it was outrageous they lost that game. They should not have turned the ball over and given the Pats 7 points. Thats how they lost. It's 100% sour grapes. If they had proof they would show it but THEY HAVE ZERO PROOF BECAUSE IT DIDN"T HAPPEN.

You say they have some "cheating" background. What cheating are you talking about? If you are talking about spygate, which was complete arrogance on the coach's part, hard for it to be considered cheating when the camera equipment was in plain sight, not being hidden by anything, just like it had been for many years prior. What a stupid name, spygate, they weren't spying on anyone. The entire sidelines of both teams knew what was going on. Every team knew they had to change their defensive signals often. All of them. Bruschi was on the radio yesterday talking about how they had to change the signals and be careful on how they were calling defensive plays. And again, show me where Marshall Faulk has ANY proof the NE Patriots cheated. Laughable.
There are sour grapes everywhere, all the time. Bill Romanoski was on the radio yesterday reflecting on his time with the 49er's and the hate they received because of their methods. He said it was bigger than this.
