spygate..... After an investigation, the NFL fined Patriots head coach Bill Belichick$500,000 (the maximum allowed by the league and the largest fine ever imposed on a coach in the league's 87-year history) for his role in the incident, fined the Patriots $250,000, and docked the team their original first-round selection in the 2008 NFL Draft which would have been the 31st pick of the draft.[SUP][3][/SUP] The fine garnered significant media attention for being the "maximum amount" an individual could be fined.

Patriots owner <culink class="culinks" culang="en" href="http://curiyo.com/en/topic/Robert Kraft" title="" style="border-bottom-width: 1px; border-bottom-style: dashed; cursor: help; display: inline !important; float: none !important; padding: 0px !important; margin: 0px !important; border-bottom-color: rgb(184, 24, 0) !important;">Robert Kraft</culink> issued an immediate response, saying the organization is disappointed by the report, which lacked "any incontrovertible or hard evidence of deliberate deflation of footballs" after a more than three-month investigation.
In a statement released in conjunction with the report, Commissioner Roger Goodell said NFL executive vice president Troy Vincent and his team "will consider what steps to take in light of the report, both with respect to possible disciplinary action and to any changes in protocols that are necessary to avoid future incidents of this type.

Still think Peytons punishment was worse, especially if he was not paid during his suspension

Funny how none of the articles I've seen show any evidence whatsoever. The *only* thing they mention is that Brady had more contact than normal with the locker room
attendants after the controversy broke. Whooop de dooooo?

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft issued a statement saying, "To say we are disappointed in its findings, which do not include any incontrovertible or hard evidence of deliberate deflation of footballs at the AFC Championship game, would be a gross understatement."

Seems the investigators don't think Brady was being truthful

he refused to hand over his cell phone and emails to the investigators. I'm interested to see your feelings about Brady hiding his emails and Hillary Clinton hiding hers. I'm thinking you're gonna think it's ok for one of them.

Im sure its pure coincidence that the "findings" were released after the draft. Robert Kraft is still looking for his apology im sure

Yeah, something tells me it's gonna be crickets from that sanctimonious prick. One one show they said, somewhere in Chicago some kinds from the Little League team are probably saying, "Mommy, does that mean that the Patriots are gonna be stripped of their championship the way we were stripped of ours?" "No, honey, that happens to poor black kids playing for fun, not to billion dollar sports teams."
Fucking hypocrites...

From everything I read the parents of the Chicago team cheated as well. The kids were not victimized by whites, but were fucked by the adults. No way Goodell will do anything here, especially not to Uncle Bobby.

Aaron Rodgers should be suspended. He already admitted playing with balls over the legal limit and trying to cheat the league. There is zero, none, nada proof of Tom Brady saying or implying that he wants his balls below NFL standards...none.

Yeah, well, you know what you can do with you "...zero, none, nada" observation, don't you? Cheating prick is sitting down for 1/4 of a season, it should've been half...

Again, what did they do in 01, 03, or 04? If you want to say something about last year it's ridiculous but it's your take, whatever. But what rule was broken in any of those years listed?
