Whether or not you play for the Yankees or DevilRays. Big difference. Last season the median salary for the Yankees was $4,575,000 per man. The D-Rays a paltry $300,000 per stiff. Honest.Baseball Salaries

Anyone living in the bay area knows that you need to make AT LEAST $80k to be comfortable. I am 24 and single and make $65k and I basically live check to check. Given i do have some expensive habits, I still cant really afford to travel and go out to eat as much as i would like....

And my details:

You are in the top 7.22% richest people in the world.
There are 5,566,727,941 people poorer than you.
How do you feel about that? A bit richer we hope. Please consider donating just a small amount to help some of the poorest people in the world. Many of their lives could be improved dramatically or even saved if you donate just one hour's salary (approx $20.83)

Oh, and in case you’re interested you are the 433,272,059 richest person in the world.

You are in the top 0,001% richest people in the world.

You don¹t need to know any more than that (and besides our calculator can't do sums that big). Please consider donating just a small amount of your enormous wealth to help some of the poorest people in the world. Many of their lives could be improved dramatically or even saved if you donate just one hour's salary (approx $20833.33)

That's 41.6 MILLION per year

This confirms what I've always thought - ARod is indeed an active RX poster.

Income has nothing to do with being rich. There are many people who make over 100K a year but still can't afford to put gas in their cars.

Indeed. Mike Tyson is a prime example.

On the other end we have the hard working Paris Hilton

By living in Costa Rica for 300 plus days a year, we have a bonafide residency. no taxes on our first 93k. Plus, other perks.

Myself and a few others I know are saving $ big time here. @):)
