It's comical that you use a ten second YouTube clip as proof but disregard fact checkers.

Jesus gassy......do you ever get tired of being stupid?

What on earth did you do before "fact checkers"??? How did you even survive???

Damned Dave...you beat me to the knockout punch as I was washing my boat. Oh well, I think we just about covered everything.
Is it a wonder why liberals hate the constitution so much?
Where are the majority coming from? Syria. What percent of Syrians are Muslim? 90.

Duh!

It ain't rocket science.

None at all. I noticed you ran from the factcheck of the quote. Man, Scott L came here and put that in its place.

Tough day for you and Joe.

True, but the one thing to emphasize in this thread is "hate crime" is not an issue unless the perp lives. If a group of men followed people leaving this club and beat them, and then were apprehended, and the investigation revealed the victims were targeted for being in a gay club, the sentences for the perps would be harshe. That's the purpose of the "hate crime" label. Not for a terrorist.

You're right, I did. I guess thanks for that. Back to the original point, though, Trump is trying to change US immigration policy and he is using the Orlando attacks to push that agenda. I'm not sure how that's debatable.

He was saying this before Orlando. Muslim people are an issue. Everyone agrees not all are that way, but if they cant stand up to their own people I dont want any of them here. I am pretty sure most Americans feel the same way.

Honestly, does this surprise anyone?

==================================================================================

Why the FBI dropped the investigation of Omar Mateen

Murphy, the FBI’s former number two who worked with then-FBI general counsel Valerie Caproni in revising the bureau’s investigative guidelines, says they discourage agents from monitoring potential terrorists over the long-term. Those guidelines retained the requirement that any preliminary investigation that did not produce evidence of a crime must be closed after six months. “Someone should have been monitoring [Mateen’s] social media 24/7,” Murphy says. “but under the guidelines that is not allowed,” he says.

Republican Sen. Lindsay Graham said the FBI should use intelligence-gathering, rather than criminal, standards in these cases.

"The FBI closed this file because the Obama administration treats radical Islamic threats as common crimes. I am not trying to solve a crime. I am trying to prevent an attack and if we kept the file open and we saw what he was up to, I think we could have stopped it," Graham said, adding the focus would be on the suspect’s actions. "I am not suggesting he be followed because he is a Muslim. I am suggesting that he be followed because of what he did and what he said."

An FBI spokesperson had no comment on the ongoing Orlando investigation.

Sorry Scott, but this is just patently ridiculous. Because the nut case terrorist was thankfully shot, what motivated him to do the deed, and what it should be called, is irrelevant? This was a targeted hate crime, whether the perp lived or died. Thankfully, sentencing is irrelevant, but not the cause and motivations.

Hate crime or no hate crime, who gives a shit. Obviously dude was a radical Muslim (maybe he loved the cock, maybe not, irrelevant ) who was able to purchase high powered weaponry with a shit ton of ammo. Let's figure out (or at least address) this radical Muslim problem. For starters let's bulldoze his Mosque, deport the father, arrest the widow. After this, let's look at these high powered semi automatic rifle laws. But reading what I'm reading here and watching some news coverage, it's either one or the other is the issue. Common sense has left the fucking universe. Even my wife who stays out politics and lives in her own world, just said "this country is fucked". My response, 10-4 my love.

“I’m the shooter. It’s me,” the man said. “I am the shooter.”

I did it for ISIS,” the caller said, according to Gentili, “I did it for the Islamic State.”

What's patently ridiculous is after recent events and everything else posted in this thread you focus more on the irrelevant. As HHM says in the next post who gives a Shit? And I'm not being callous here. The main targets are innocent American civilians. If you can say the removal of all gay discos would have prevented this attack then I'll say it's a hate crime #TheMainThing

Do you live in a bubble? The guy is a terrorist. Pledged his allegiance to ISIS and the caliphate. He targeted Disney as well. Typical liberal nut job shit...protecting Islam at all costs eh Guesser?

You know, the answer to the questions about you all have the same answer....you are a closet rag head.

He also "pledged allegiance" to Hezbollah, Al Qaeda, and the Boston Bombers. 3 of those groups are mortal enemies and hate each other, although to an Islamaphobe racist like you, all those "rag heads" are the same, like Iran is the same as Pakistan is the same as India. All Rag heads. His "Pledges of allegiance" were the rantings of a crazy person, totally irrelevant, but of course ISIS is going to take the gift and use it for propaganda.

Considering he was either a self hating gay, or just hated gays, and specifically targeted Gays, I'd say that's a pretty good assumption
