Whether he saw the video or not, seeing Janay Rice dragged from the elevator should have made it pretty clear what went on in the elevator. Roger knew he botched the original suspension and now he's hiding behind the video to save his own ass.

The Ravens & the NFL saw the video and thought "a 2 game suspension is appropriate here" and the Ravens encouraged their fans to cheer on Rice.
Ray Rice told a different version of the story of what happened to his teammates as opposed to what he told the NFL and Ravens
The Ravens & the NFL are completely lying when they say they never saw the video released yesterday, despite expressly clear statements to the contrary.
And of course you can not accept Occam's Razor here.

Thanks for making this point. Ray Rice is 5'8", 217 lbs. While his now wife may be similar in height she is nowhere near his strength.
I actually agree with Mr. NBA that a man who is fighting a big woman should take whatever means necessary to protect himself if she is his equal in strength. But I don't believe that is the case here even if they are the same height.
