St. Louis Rams coach Jeff Fisher said he would not hesitate to cut Michael Sam if he is not good enough to make the team.
“We picked him within the process and we’re going to reduce this roster within the process,” Fisher said, according to ProFootballTalk. “So I don’t see that being an issue.”

Really? Good luck with that.

If Sam does not make the Rams solely due to his on-field performance, the media backlash may be a distraction for the team as the mainstream press will harass the team and likely insinuate that Sam did not make the team because the team discriminated against him for his sexual orientation or players were not ready for a gay player in the locker room.
Will they actually cut him or keep him available by putting him on the cheerleading squad?

This is a correct statement and one of the many reasons why I don't vote republican. I do agree that the media is harsh on those who disagree with the lifestyle. I for one just think it is ignorant cause I strongly believe that being gay just happens, I do realize that there are a select few who choose, but have you ever chose? I think liberals believe with science on this cause most of us can compare it to our own lives.. For example, I started watching the Price is Right at a young age and it wasn't because of Bob Barker, did I choose then? No my body naturally got hard for girls. I do agree with you, the lifestyle shouldn't be pushed on anyone, but I don't know why it bothers people so much? Have you ever been around or spent time with gay people? They are people just like anyone else, just get turned on by something else. To see them discriminated against for any reason rubs me the wrong way

Hate the vile act, not the person....for the nonreligious folk.

I just found out that Sterling and I have something in common. Apparently neither of us knew Anderson Cooper was gay.

After rambling in an interview about how he made "stupid, foolish, and uneducated" remarks about not wanting V. Stiviano to bring "black people" to his games because he wanted to sleep with her and was jealous of her black male friends, Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling asked Anderson Cooper if he was ever jealous at another guy over a girl.

More Lefty journalism...and an insight into their Utopian paradise vision...

Dan Wetzel compares Sam to Tim Tebow, saying both should be allowed to express themselves however they see fit. The difference is Tebow didn't have a goon squad ready to stomp out all dissent against him, and Wetzel conveniently overlooks all the vitriol directed Tebow's way. My favorite excerpts:

Job one for Sam now is being more than a pioneer. He needs to be a St. Louis Ram. Making the team is critical.
How Sam goes about that isn't up to everyone else, though. He doesn't have to conform and be a robot.
And I doubt he will. Thus far he doesn't seem interested in altering his ways to appease others. That's what makes him so interesting.
If that means having a picture of his boyfriend in his locker, then so be it. If that means talking to teammates about his love life, then go ahead. If that means having a signature celebration after a big play that speaks to his fans, then bring it on. His choice.

Sure, Michael. Go ahead and tell your new teammates all about your BF going down on you and see how they respond.

In the end, this is Michael Sam's story. He gets to write it. He gets to live it. He gets to decide how he wants to make the NFL. He doesn't have to shut up for any of us.

That's wonderful, except you're demanding anyone who doesn't agree has to shut up...or face the consequences. Bit of a double standard, no?

If you read the comments on Michael Sam stories, I'd say 90% of them are fed up with this disgusting and depraved agenda being rammed down everyone's throat.

Maybe his teammates can do a "butt hump" type celebration for him after he makes a big play. That would be soooo great for the gay society.
