"The right side of history" loosely translates to "based on historical evidence, we should take steps A, B, and C...because history has shown when that happens, success is achieved."
Matt Loser can feel free to list all the successful sporting leagues we've seen throughout history can became roaring successes.
"Diversity" is not what makes this country great. I could put 50 people of different backgrounds in one room and ask them to do a task, and then put 50 people from the same race in another and ask them to do the same task...and there's no evidence the "diverse" room would accomplish anything better or more effectively. What really makes (or perhaps, once made) this country great is everyone, diverse or not, has an equal opportunity to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That is...unless you say something the self-appointed thought police don't agree with. Then they will try to completely destroy you and your livelihood if you dare not conform. These fucking scumbags are the lowest and most vile form of life on earth.

Not a big fan watching two guys kiss, makes me feel a little bit icky. Media coverage way too much on this issue. Instead of ripping the Miami Dolphins many of you dolts are ripping on Democrats. Democrats pushed for gay rights and the media blows it up and the Dolphins issue the punishment. Must be Obama's and Obama voter's fault. The comments in this thread are exactly why republicans will have a hard time winning presidential elections unless their candidate is top notch strong, which they don't have. The republican perception on social issues is bleak and the supporters thoughts and willingness to bash rubs people (voters) the wrong way.

I say I can't stand the act of gay. It's not normal and people who choose that lifestyle have something not clicking correctly. The liberal thought is there a scientific reason behind it.....it should be just common sense. If someone has to be gay....so be it. Just don't push that lifestyle on normal people. People that oppose the lifestyle are the ones that truly get crucified for having a belief or a backbone to stand up to something that is obviously not the way the human body was created for.

This is a correct statement and one of the many reasons why I don't vote republican. I do agree that the media is harsh on those who disagree with the lifestyle. I for one just think it is ignorant cause I strongly believe that being gay just happens, I do realize that there are a select few who choose, but have you ever chose? I think liberals believe with science on this cause most of us can compare it to our own lives.. For example, I started watching the Price is Right at a young age and it wasn't because of Bob Barker, did I choose then? No my body naturally got hard for girls. I do agree with you, the lifestyle shouldn't be pushed on anyone, but I don't know why it bothers people so much? Have you ever been around or spent time with gay people? They are people just like anyone else, just get turned on by something else. To see them discriminated against for any reason rubs me the wrong way

Getty ImagesPolice are looking for a man who removed a toilet from a West Seattle Subway restaurant Sunday night and trashed the bathroom.
The man entered the Subway with his family about 7:45 p.m. in the 7400 block of 42nd Avenue Southwest, according to Seattle police reports. While workers took the family’s order, the man entered the bathroom and didn’t leave. His wife knocked on the door and asked him why he was taking so long, police say.
The family left the Subway without him.
The man then exited the restroom carrying a plastic garbage bag and hustled out of the restaurant, reports say.
An employee checked the bathroom and found the toilet tank gone, as well as the bathroom key. The sink was stuffed with paper towels and still running.
The toilet tank is reportedly worth $550.
Police gathered information from witnesses that helped them identify a possible suspect. Burglary and theft detectives are investigating the incident.
