The SoCal homerism is sickening. SoCal was so mediocre on offense all year and no one is giving OU ANY cred for how well they played on defense last night. Their DL played damn well.

Geez, if they're so great, why can't they beat the likes of oregon st (2x), stanford, cal or ucla during the regular season, assuring they reach the title game to blow out the sec champ? Well, they did go recently, losing to texas. Oh, and their only real national title came at the expense of stoops' lame play calling and big game prep. Please, please stop with the usc talk. umm...when has urban meyer ever been outcoached? Quite simply, you have two teams that are clearly the best teams in college football, but UF has 2 of the last 3 NC's because they play in a conference that is competitive and gains them respect week in and week out. What does USC do all year?

anyway, the most talented kids in the west go to USC and the most talented kids in the east go to UF, and both have great coaches and schemes. and a few in the middle go to OU/texas...but the REAL east/west matchup hasn't happened yet, so all we can do is speculate and talk smack..but anyone that thinks FL couldn't hang with USC is incredibly naieve..the coaching and schools are comprable, as is the recruiting base..these have definitely been the best two teams in the land for quite a while now...we should freaking play already!!

Actually, LSU has been more impressive than both USC and Florida this decade
