nobody will ever go 14.5 seasons without missing a baseball game again

everything else is remotely possible

Cy Young's 500+ wins is the lock of eternity. (obviously not post 41)

UCLA's 7 straight easily. A team would have to win 42 Straight NCAA tourney games just to tie the record.

I believe Farve's record is more difficult to break than Ripken's because of the nature of the game and the number of seasons required.

peyton has a shot at favres ( just 6 more years ,) if he wants to play till hes 40. id imagine hes took a lot less hits at this point than favre. hard to figure what he will do . his ego will want to break records, but his pride wont let him play once hes washed up.

A couple that will be around a while.

Consecutive games reaching base (official) (includes only outcomes that increase on-base percentage: base hit, walk, or hit-by-pitch)

  • 84 - Ted Williams - Boston Red Sox - July 1 through September 27, 1949.

Consecutive seasons, .400 on-base percentage or better

Pitcher to complete every game he started in a single season (minimum 15 starts)I think this record can't be broken.

Ted Lyons in the early 40's 12-8 20 games started 20 games completed!

The Record that will 100% never be broken in Baseball is Fernando Tatis 2 Grand Slams in same inning. You would have to hit 3 Grand Slams in the same inning to break that record. How many MLB players have never hit a grand slam period?

On April 23, 1999, Tatís made history by hitting two grand slams in a single inning; the only player to do so in the history of the MLB. He hit both against Chan Ho Park of the Los Angeles Dodgers. With this feat, Tatís also set a Major-League record with eight RBI in a single inning

You get a young speedster like Ichiro who could beat it down and beat it out to first and do that between slap hits and you will have someone who will give 56 a run.

I think 57+ happens

Never. There's a reason it's stood for almost 70 years now.

The 7 straight men's NCAA Basketball titles is the most unbreakable

No, because the tournament is now 68 teams. When UCLA won all those titles they never had more than 25. Still impressive though but not the same tournament.

You will NEVER see a back to back WSOP main event winner again. Chan the last one to do it...

I've heard it said that Dan Harrington making the final table in 2003 and 2004 (3/839 and 4/2576) was a greater feat than Chan winning
it twice in a row.
