Froggy:
You're questioning the integrity of a good man. You have just implied that Joey C has shilled for his own book in the past, but I think you're missing his post, at least partially:

I did have - but do no longer have an interest in BC.
I was in Mexico last week on vacation, not in BC offices as reported.
I have called 'em the way I see 'em here. Sone of the books I've been critical of, are now whining about my posts - so be it.
If some think I have some other "agenda" here, then so be it.

Froggy, I was with you when you pointed under which conditions the owner of PrePaidATM likes to conduct business, but precisely because of that I will have to disagree with you here: there's a difference between a honest man and a con artist. Joey C is a honest man.
Joey C has already said he has no ongoing interest at BC any longer. He has proved to many of us he's an insider, he is in possession of quite a bit of info about this industry.
Now let's think about it. Joey C has been accused of:
-Promoting a book, where he has financial interest.
-Not separating his posting persona from his interests.
The way I see it, even if Joey C was the almighty owner of the book, the validity of his recommendation to play with BCBets is vigent. Why? Because none of the things he has said about the book is not true.
BC Bets is indeed one of the best books in this industry. Therefore there has not been a violation of the truth here. By not being implied with the ownership of the book, he's not promoting his financial interest either.
It would have been a different story if Joey C only posted about this book, but do yourself a favor and read through his posts. He has only recommended to play at honest reputable operations. BCBets among them.
Does the fact that he recommends quality shops, imply that he's got personal interests with each of those shops? Hardly. The man is trying to educate people as for where to play, minimizing the risk of getting burned. Posters like myself appreciate that. And I cannot see who wouldn't.
As for the posting persona issue, this forum as any other forum is a stage. A stage where people try to perform a role in the best possible way they can. If you understand the value of an educated opinion, you will understand the value of a poster like Joey C.
I haven't met the man yet ( will hopefully do so in the Vegas bash), but you can definitely form an opinion on somebody by the opinions he voices. There are legends and legends in the make in this industry, and Joey C's reputation precedes him.
Let's stay focused on keeping the good people here.
