3-0 with the late games, things went almost as I thought, props to Holland for pulling the late victory.

World Cup Record: 1-0 +0.20 and 16-3 with my leans (17-3 overall)

Have I mentioned I'm the master.

was trying to wake up in time which I did, at 7:30am but I dove back and overslept the start by 10 minutes. I would have taken Ivory Coast/Over for certain with N. Korea being the worst team I've seen to date. I would have passed on the 2nd game. Well enough about that I didn't wake up so I'm sounding more like a Monday morning QB than anything else. I'll have the late games up once the lineups are announced.

respectable 3-1 only losing the Honduras vs Swiss total, almost went under but I thought the Swiss would go after the win and Honduras would have a few counter chances, etc. (they actually almost scored but the Swiss goalie made an excellent save).

Tomorrow we only have two games on tap, first being Uruguay vs S. Korea. Very interesting game IMHO in terms style contrast.

A dangerous EPL trio of Koreans vs a formidable Uruguayan attacking duo and I'm going with:

Uruguay to advance/Over 2

tough game to cap just think Uruguay has shown a better or more dangerous form of attack than the Koreans with two outstanding finishers, also length is on their side.Having said that I wouldn't be surprised to see Korea score as they're trio matches up well against most back lines and today isn't any different.

2-0. Nice.
Please post your leans on the later game as soon as you can. LOL

PS. This round is not the same as Group plays where you try to impress and score of pts. Most favs will try to sit on the lead as Uruguay did today at beginning of the 2H when NoK had the ball most of the time until they tied the game.

Another sweep and another positive result for a South American team. No doubt Uruguay got outplayed by S. Korea especially in the 2nd half but as I said in my write up those Uruguayan strikers(in today's case Suarez) was simply too much for the Koreans to overcome. Speaking of S. America it really is a shame Chile is playing Brazil as I had Brazil beating Spain and Chile over Portugal big in both matches (they would have been .80* plays) so I'm not one happy camper.

Now lets talk about the feature game today why don't we Ghana vs U.S.A. Here we have two teams that present different strengths, one squad has a slight advantage of skill and creativity the other has speed and strength with a stronger back line. Give me defense, home field advantage, and half a goal here for the lone remaining African side:

lean: Ghana +0.5/Over 2

scratch the total, going to wait to see the lineups first. Want to get a better feel of what type of pace we'll see.

without a doubt this is why I'm taking the cautious route with the total in the late game. I'm not going to argue that Uruguay did a lot of waiting and seeing or you can say play not to get tied but they were also spent physically and looked a step or two slow. Thought they took too long to make some much needed changes and it almost cost them (Suarez is making his coach look smarter than he really is). If the Black Stars (Ghana) is able to get by the stars and stripes I'll be taking the half a point (if available) against the La Celeste (Uruguay) as well.
