I personally buy the 3 up (dog), and down (fav), more of a "security cushion" but if you go back and look, most of the time it is irrelevant, dur to the fact that the team that wins covers..So I do it more for the opposite side coming from behind and kickin that last second FG or Overtime..Or another example is someone ask earlier about teasers..Most of the time in the NFL, if you hit the teaser, then you would have hit the parlay, which obviously pays higher odds...
