Don't be surprised if this one is a slugest. Both pitchers are young with not much starting experience in the big leagues. NYY are out of the playoff picture and are just playing the season our whereas the CHW are up 2 1/2 games on MIN and need to win this one. CHW will pull this one out late and maybe score double digits here.

The Diamondbacks Brandon Webb is having another phenomenal season and the 20 game winner won't slow down here! The Giants offense has been absolutely anemic so far in this series. As for the Diamondbacks they've had trouble scoring runs all month and their offense certainly can't be trusted here. Jonathan Sanchez has enjoyed spotty success for the Giants this season and he should enjoy even more of that tonight against the struggling Dbacks. Arizona, plain and simple, just is having big-time problems in scoring runs right now. Every night you look up at the score board in the month of September and it seems the Diamondbacks are ending up with somewhere between 0 and 3 runs. Until that improves they can not be trusted to score runs but look for Webb to come up with another solid outing and that means, just like the first two games of this series, this one stays well under the total.
